The technique is called Backmasking.

Backmasking (also known as backward masking)[1] is a recording technique in which a sound or message is recorded backward on to a track that is meant to be played forward. Backmasking is a deliberate process, whereas a message found through phonetic reversal may be unintentional.

I recall back in the 70's there was all kinds of media buz about backmasking in rock music. So Electric Light Orchestra said fuck it and did this.

As in my thread, the best and creepiest one for me is the Led Zepplin one. I'm not saying I believe it's intentional, but it sounds pretty damn clear to me.
