"DJ" Setups

Anyone else here DJ ? Not quite sure if what I'm doing right now quite classifies as actually DJ-ing, but I am definitely in the market for a nice mixer and some turn-tables but still, thats not the point of this thread. It's all about what you've got.

So, heres my setup:

APC40:

Audio DJ-8:

Traktor Scratch Pro:

and my laptop. I also use Ableton Live 8 as well, but I love using the APC40 mapped out in MIDI with traktor. The LEDs were a bitch to map, and are still a little buggy for some reason but still, its awesome.

    Naw, I don't DJ but it sure as fuck seems like everybody does nowadays, eh? Not that I really care or am complaining...it just seems awfully cliche to get into at this point.

    Yeah, but who cares really. Music is music, some people just like doing this shit I guess :D

    DJing is cool. I tried to get into it a couple years ago, but realized that I'd much rather be the one listening or on the floor. But it's really up to the DJ. Some people just shouldn't do it :mad:

    Someone I knew that posted at zoklet is a DJ. Maybe I can talk him into signing up here.

    I agree that it is very cliche to be a DJ.
