Adobe Premiere question

edited August 2010 in Life
In the assignment I have to do for college, it asks for me to show an example of 'effect layering'. I'm not 100% sure what they mean; do they mean I must use an image mask over something, or is it something do do with importing layered Photoshop docs?

Why don't you just ask them to make sure?

In Gimp my idea of effect layering is changing the top layer to.
    • Normal
    • Dissolve
    • Multiply
    • Divide
    • Screen
    • Overlay
    • Dodge
    • Burn
    • etc-blah

Creates some awesome effects if the color of the images are well balanced.
    A good example: Get a simple b/w image....mono b/w, not a photo. Say...600x800 or wudeva
Find an abstract wallpaper, a simple one color theme, with some bling will be cool (Get one out of your OS wallpapers) save it as a top layer and change mode to one of the list above.
    Watch the magic unfold.
I don't use PS so I don't know how to fly it.
    Skittles is the PS shark.;)
