    Good thread, OP.

    This is my woods carry.

Locking pocket knife (4 inch blade)
    Multitool (Small saw, etc)
    Firesteel
Duct tape (I'm usually shooting inthe woods, secures targets well)
    Paper targets
    Folding saw
    Small tarp
    A rifle with 100-500 rounds (ether a .22lr or ar-15)
    If I'm not carrying a rifle I take a 60lb compound bow.

That's just my dicking around kit. I carry that stuff in my cargo pockets. I don't have a beefier kit right now, but I do have several fixed blades should the need arise.

I don't carry a fishing kit because the woods I'm in lack moving water, but are game rich.

Im a city slicker, so my gear tends to be a bit limited. I generally separate EDC items into two categories: on my person and in my bag (when i go on campus, or just out an about)

On my person (and pretty much will always have on me)
-Multitool. Leatherman Blast, carried on my belt.
-3W single LED AA flashlight. Left front pocket.
    -1 ball point pen
    -phone. Motorola Krzr
    -Wallet, containing:
    --four salt packets
--short hook/diamond lock picks and tension wrench
    --paperclips
    --2 band aids
    --sewing needle

    - i also occasionally carry one of my smaller folding knives (CRKT Drifter or kabar dozier hunter), usually when im going to be in a car and there is zero chance of me going to a nightclub or something. knife laws are a on the strict side here in NSW. The multitool is a lot more cop friendly.

    In my bag
    -netbook. Asus eeepc 1005p
    -packets of tissue.
    -duct tape
    -bic lighter
    -sharpie
    -whiteboard marker
    -few plastic bags
    -plastic fork and spoon
-dental floss (used on its own or with the sewing needle)
-mini crowbar. i dont actually need this. i found it on the ground and never bothered to take it out.

-i will eventually replace the crowbar with a first aid kit when i finish it.
-ive bought a few whistles on ebay. i will put one of them in

edit: funny how ebola and i both have dental floss as part of our EDC i didnt expect anyone else to carry it

    Lock Picks
    Knife
    Cell Phone
    iPod
    Wallet
    BIC Lighter
    Bump Keys
    Sharpie

A BIC or two (if you're desperate all you need is some flint left and some sock lint or use the fuzz of your towel)
A small can of 100% DEET if I'm going in the woods.
A Smith&Wesson Swat knife with a Chinese knockoff replacement blade on it. Probably the handles were seconds purchased en masse
    Water bottle at all times.
A Digital camera if I have access.
A hat (preferably crushable straw or wool depending on the season.)
    Also a pipe sometimes.
    Deodorant
The National Audubon Society's Field Guide to North American Mushrooms
A Towel (you can ALWAYS use a towel)
    Lock Picks
    Knife
    Cell Phone
    iPod
    Wallet
    BIC Lighter
    Bump Keys
    Sharpie

I carry my wallet only for driving and going into town. I leave that shit in the car.

Also, I carry a cell phone only during school.

A knife. Everything else stays home.

Unless I'm riding; in which case:

    Knife
Money clip with cash and cards and license.
    Keys
    Helmet
There is a toolkit on the bike that has things like a flashlight and zip ties and cordage.

I figure, living close to civilization, everything else can be acquired. Besides, humans have been making do with their naked bodies for quite a while.

Nakedness = More surface area for injury to me. I dress at least with boots when going in the bush. Boots, a hat, and a stick and we're good to go.

Damn man, you're prepared for anything.

The only thing you don't carry is a sky chart of the celestial sphere.

Not really, but it have helped me out alot a few times when i have needed the tools or have had to "McGywer" something into working again.
Most of the time i atleast have enough gear to improvise something that sort of works. :)

Also looks like i will have a new EDC knife instead of the Becker, it will probably be moved to my wilderness survival bag instead.

    Here is my new knife:
    H&K Tactical fixed blade 14100

Really like it so far, needs some work on the edge but should work out just fine.

Thats what I was talking about in the OP and my list is of what I carry to work or in a "Everyday" situation. A few people seem to have snuck in their bug-out kits etc. but thats still good info :)
