Help, She Misscarriaged.

My girlfriend was pregnant. She had been for a little while but not long enough to start showing yet. A couple of nights ago however she went to the bathroom and "started her period". It was extremely heavy and hurt her more than anything she had felt before. I knew what it was but didn't want to say it. She knew too but didn't want to mention it until tonight. I should be happy about this but I'm worried about her. Neither of us has been through anything like this before and I don't know how I can help her get through it. She is really down about the whole thing and normally she is annoyingly giddy so I know its really bothering her. Tomorrow she is going to the clinic to get the excess stuff removed and I know she will be miserable all day, especially after. Does anyone have any advice to help me out here? I really care about her and hate to see her this way s any help would be appreciated. Thanks.s
