What do?

So I was quietly helping my cousin out at his IT repair business today, backing up some data a guy wanted. This included pictures, music, movies and shit. Then all of a sudden, BANG, I find some pictures he took of his daughter in the bath amongst his multitude of pictures. Now ordinarily I wouldn't think this weird, as it's sometimes normal to see these pictures for family purposes of really young sons/daughters. However, this girl was like 10-12, with little flaps of boob coming in. This had me a little alarmed. Does this sound normal to anyone out there? Especially as she's so old, heading into puberty. I don't have a family of my own yet so I have no idea of the norms, however I'm pretty sure it's still counted as child pornography.

I'm pretty sure they're harmless and not for distribution purposes but it still doesn't seem right to me. What do?

Also, I'm not posting any of the pics (Even if I had them on my home PC)

Potentially send man to prison and stigmatize him for life because we're suspicious?

That's a weird situation you're in. I say when you get the chance try to talk to your cousin's daughter about it. Build some trust with her if you don't have it already and find out how she feels about the it all or if she even knows. With this new information you should make your decision. Keep what JustAnotherAsshole said in mind though.

Oh sorry I don't think I clarified that well. It wasn't my cousins PC I was backing up. It was a client of his.

It is a tricky situation, but dobbing in the guy could be the worst way to to handle it. I agree.

Do nothing about it. If the man likes taking pictures of his kids then so be it  You could back the pictures up on your HDD though :D
