    What is ME?

Seriously, I never bothered with it. I knew it was a Christmas OS that was released in order to give the OEM's something to put on the shiny new consumer boxes that year while they finished up the work on XP. I also knew it would never see an enterprise desktop and therefor I would never make any money by learning it. I made the same choice with Vista and never had to touch a single machine running it.

I'm glad they got rid of "2.0, 3.0" etc and did xp vista etc instead.

WIsh i could live forever and see windows 1 - windows infinity
Maybe by the time i die, we'll have enough tech to help preserve old people and get them new bodies. LIke in the movie "the Island"

Ugh. I had to run that for a few years. We got a desktop at my house that had been loaded with ME. It was at the mid-low end of the hardware advancement ladder at the time. Accordingly, we couldn't just put XP on it, as it wouldn't have run.

ME=piece of shit. Would've preferred downgrading to 98 just for functionality's sake.

Perhaps you could've run tiny XP.
