I'm going to be making a news site for a prof
who wants to work together with me on some project
I was thinking about leaving alot of the spaces white
and keeping the colours to brown, white, golden yellow,
White for the background, black for the text, dark tealy colour for links
Would these colours clash?

Good luck with that man  From the sounds of it, I don't think the colors will clash but you'll have to check when you've got it up and running on your localhost or whatever you're testing on. If you need help with basic coding then let me know :)

    Tips:
    Get a CMS
Copy the layout from some major news site.
Work on it and make it unique.
    Post unique content.
