Even as I type these words my heart sinks, for a nation who is strong and wonderful seeing them in such misery makes my heart go numb with sadness. As you already know Japan is going through the worst disaster ever, and everyone in the world excluding some idiots are just praying and hoping something good will happen soon. But we cannot ignore the fact that things can or might go wrong. In this time of need, we as Totsean; Warriors of Everything Bad and Good, should do something to help those victims.
I know if this was a troll stunt most of you would jump up and down and try to have fun, but there are times in life when you need to take steps to ensure betterment of humanity. I value Japanese people for their creativity, thanks to them Rule 34 actually exist not only that in Pakistan they have contributed in different vital fields. For few days I have been in a different state, each time I hear about what's actually happening there my heart skips a beat. Maybe I just being a bit melodramatic but honestly after shedding my religious belief I feel things is something that I must do.
So, in this historic thread we will discuss and find ways to motivate others to help Japan and run some campaigns to support Japan. This includes some banners a special logo for Japan and some heartwarming articles regarding Japan for the CMS. We will e-mail and mail the Japan Embassy our articles and letters and we will support the donations by linking Red Cross to totse and doing whatever we can to help them.
In the end, we're just humans and as humans we should help each other out. So Totse, I know this isn't our style but I think as we grow up we should actually do something meaningful once in life. I am sure if this works, we can say to others that we worked as a team and tried to help others.
From Marketing stand point this is a golden opportunity, we can print stickers and banners and add totse at the end, we can make a dedicated page for Japan and start working on donations, and we can flood twitter, reddit etc. and just get the message across.

I actually like this idea quite a lot, and it would give us something to stand for for a little while
If you want to do some shit like that, do it, just dont advertise totse with it. Totse should be about free speech - how can you have true free speech when you say you support something - something other than free speech.
By supporting this, the websites credability as a place of free speech would be ruined. You would be automatically taking a stanse against people who may hate japan and japanese people, people who like earthquakes, tsunamis and nuclear accidents.
You may not agree with their point of view. You too have your own. By all means, share your views and do something that would be of help. Send some money rather than doing mango drawings or making high cue poetry.
If you have gone all webo on us and no longer understand, let me explain it for you: Totse is like harro kitty. Totse has opinions put on it in the way you put emotion on harro kitty. Harro kitty has no mouth so she cannot judge or disagree.
Totse does not judge or disagree; its members might, but totse hosts them some where where all views can be heard.
To do this would totally compramise this site and what it is supposed to stand for.

No one is stopping anyone from making Tsunami joke threads etc, it's more of a way to do something towards helping others. Plus, it would piss others off after seeing Earthquakes jokes on totse. I am making Japan an exception because things will only get worse from here. It's better to jump on board and use this for our own agenda.
This in no goes against free speech. Again, we're just advertising and making Totse stand out more.
Here is what I think:
Phase A) Add a Special Totse Logo which directly reflects Japan situation.
Phase
Phase C) Twit and Reddit our effort and act as if we did something impossible blah blah, basically troll them.
Phase D) Send e-mails to Japanese Embassy etc and link them back to totse.
Generate more awareness and that's it.
While this is going on, feel free to post Japanese porn or whatever you want. We could just shock the Japs by this but in the mean time, it will help us get some approval rating and prevent totse from getting blocked in future on different university campuses.
It's a long shot but it's possible, plus we can target a much larger group with this. You don't need to go emotional over this, we're just trolling everyone and making our way to the top. If you're creative enough you can fuck with lots of people using this.
Again, I can do this with one thread or with fuck tons of threads regarding the same topic. I am just in it for totse publicity that's all.

If something similar was to happen in most other countries, the looting and pillaging would be rampant.
Japan is not big on ethnic diversity and hence has not imported this problem.
