I have a problem involving my youngest son and I will not go into the details of it here. But I have a land line phone number I need to track down in relation to this problem. What is the best way or site that you know of to track the address of a land line phone?

Operator? I usually social engineer this by calling the Operator and asking for the address.

Reverse lookup, definitely. Google it.

If worst comes to worst, you could call up the number from a payphone and socially engineer them to hand over the address.

As others have said, your best best would be to phone the number and get the details from the person that answers.
