This is true. I'm all for quirky beauty. A lot of companies are using, for lack of better words, girls with something a little weird. The main model that represents the brand I work for wouldn't be perceived as hot by many people, but I adore her.

They're looking for something different, I think they guessed that girls actually hate models who look perfect in every shoot, bad for business. So, they tend to pick regular girls and use them as brand ambassadors etc.
I don't know, I just LOVE models and I LOVE seeing models, something about their pictures just makes me love them more. Btw I frequent on many fashion blogs and forums.
