OP, why did the first one die? Goldfish can naturally get older than 30 years and some have been known to get 70. Since I doubt that yours died from old age, there most be something in the water that killed it. Whatever it is, it could be weakning the survivour to a state where you think it is "sad".

That I use the Glock 78 is in no way to say that it is better than the others mentioned already. Good thread, info and some really nice (and slightly expensive) knives. Personally I carry the Glock Field Knife (G78) whenever I go to "the great outdoors" and I have been really happy with it. I would go with pre-fabricated grips. Not only do you need them sturdy but also with a rough surface allowing friction. The pre-fab ones are not very expensive (especially when compared to making molds and the time spent on the whole process). I found lotz of Liberty Caps (Psilocybe semilanceata) in the woods around where I live. They grow in the same places as the years before, so people have their own secret "hunting grounds". They tend to be easier to find if you eat the first few you find :)
