I'm not quite caught up on web developing platforms as I should be, but from what I see, everyone is using Wordpress for its simplicity and flexibility, and it's quite powerful in comparisons. Yeah pretty much ^ that. There are a bunch though. A lot of media players and video editing software all support video capture and recording, it's almost standard nowadays and there really isn't a "better" capture software, the card on the other hand is far more important along with your computer specs.
