Fixing a Snapped Cigarette

Fixing A Snapped Cigarette

It happens to the best of us and it sucks when it does. Snapped cigarettes can suck badly if you don’t know how to fix them but this guide will hopefully give you some insight on that.

What you need:
A broken cigarette (preferably snapped near the filter if you can help it :p)

Snapped near filter like in the picture:
This is the easiest kind of snapped cigarette to fix so heres what you do

  • First you want to completely separate the snapped cigarette.
  • Next you want to take the filter and empty any tobacco out of it. Just roll it in between your thumb and forefinger and it should pour out easily
  • Take the tobacco filled part of the cig and spin it around so the part you would normally light is facing the filter
  • Gently twist and slide the cigarette into the open end of the filter until it stays put without you holding it.

A fixed cigarette won’t be nearly as strong as a cigarette that is already in good condition (which isn’t very strong in the first place) so instead of flicking the ashes, just let them fall off or blow them off. You will also want to hold the cigarette at the end of the filter closest to the tobacco for extra support and so it doesn’t fall out of the filter.

Snapped in the middle:
This situation is worse than the other because of the fact that you need to smoke both parts separately.

What you have to do in this situation (or at least what i always do) is smoke the half that is still on the filter until there is about a centimeter of tobacco left. You want to put it out and then rip whatever tobacco is remaining off. This will help you by not leaving a burnt filter which would make it hard for you to fit the other half in there.

To put the other half into the filter just follow the steps from the first example and smoke it to the end.

Just be careful with your cigarettes and don’t be stupid with them and you shouldn’t need to do this but if your cigarette does break then at least you will know what to do.
