Seems like this may be the best place, apologies if it's not.
Anyway, I have an absolutely ancient Nikon D1X digital camera. I'm the third owner of it, it was in great shape until a few weeks ago. The shutter came apart, and in the process of coming apart, the image sensor got scratched.
So I'm picking up a used D70S body from keh.com, I'm on a tight budget and it'll work with my older AF lenses and CF cards - and it's a decent upgrade in terms of battery life.
I don't exactly want to chuck something that was originally $9,000 into the trash, plus I'm a dirty liberal that likes to recycle. What should I do with this thing? I figure I can sell the batteries and charger to KEH, or maybe on craigslist (the batteries are about 3 years old), but repairs will cost more than the camera is worth.
Suggestions?
