Seriously though! I agree with you on the existence of other lifeforms within such a diverse expansion of universe we really have no clue about. I think it not only irrational but ignorant to assume there is only one planet holding life. However! The part I tend to question is the intellect levels these lifeforms may or may not possess. (eg): Does this life form possess the intellect of a 1000 earthlings or the simplicity of a garden twig. Things that make you go hmmm....
