Sparklers + AN?

The only thing that prevents me from playing with AN is the fact that with the chemicals at my disposal, I can only make triacetone peroxide to detonate it. Now I don't have the balls to make AP because my hands are very important to me. Plus there's a chance it could go off and detonate the AN while I'm assembling everything --that wouldn't end well.

So I was thinking, why not use a sparkler bomb to set off the AN? They certainly seem to have enough energy. I can't test this ATM because I don't have any sparkler shops around here.

I could either use fuel oil with the AN, but I'm curious as to whether or not I could use crushed sparklers...
