Combining Paracetamol with Alcohol

edited January 2011 in Man Cave
Is this actually dangerous? I'm asking due to the warning on the back of the box, and one time when I was drunk with a headache, I reached for the box of paracetamol and was told not to take them with alcohol.

Can you combine paracetamol with alcohol?

It's always been a gray area for me, so perhaps Totse can help.

I think i've done it before and there were no discernable effects. Maybe its just bad for your kidneys...or something?

I'd have thought it would be worse for your liver, if anything. But I still have no idea.

Both are bad for your liver. So combining it may potentiate the harm it does to your liver. Shouldn't be of any considerable danger unless you take like 5 grams.

But why the fuck would you take paracetamol with alcohol? Paracetamol is like taking sugar pills, does nothing. And alcohol is 100x better at killing pain.
