It kinda sucks that people do only come here for the porn, and don't take a look at the other sections. We shouldn't force users to post, but a nudge in the direction of the other sections would be nice.

I agree with DaGuru. It's a miracle some of the fappers stick around or lurk other forums because most of the dedicated porn forum I checked out, I honestly didn't bother with what they were asking. Hell, even if some of them forced me to register I didn't bother with it. So, it's already a positive sign that porn fappers at least register on Totse.

It appears the porn section has a lot to offer here. Maybe we can redirect users to a porn-only board, we'll lose half of the users but atleast it'll keep the community 'clean'.
When I first started lurking on Totse it was mostly to read the erotica and to look at Flesh Art (once it was implemented) but I eventually started posting. Times are different now though. We're focusing on growing and adding content, the old Totse didn't have that problem. Is there a way to have a new user sent to a screen like the redirection screen upon initial registration that will explain this? Maybe with a redirect link clearly visable on that page.

We do NOTHING about the situation. If people want to just come here to watch porn, then let them. But please, for TOTSES SAKE, do NOT encourage them to post here. For all we know, they could just end up being another fail-troll and were stuck with them because we asked them to be here.
What we need to do is improve what we have here already. We already have many intelligent posters that can contribute loads to the site, if not now, with time. Eventually the users who come here only for porn will catch on and start contributing their own thoughts and ideas. The ones who come here to fail-troll will get weeded out, but if we ask the fail-trolls to be here, they will feel like they have a right to be here.
