Pretty sure we can all agree TV these days sucks fat ass.

So what are some of you favorite older TV shows?

I'm a huge fan of stuff like:

Hogans Heros
Gilligan's Island
Gunsmoke

They just done make em like that anymore. :(

    Also the whole series will be shown again on the Science channel soon. Seriously

    There are so many GOOD goddamn shows that got canceled because the ratings weren't high enough to earn the networks mega-millions like American Idol can per episode. My 3 favorite shows of all time were Buffy, Angel, and Dark Angel. All had deep characters (and the RIGHT ones which is hard to find), a great plot/story, excellent effects, and heavily relative to just about any audience.

    You don't find shows that are risky enough to delve head long into a television show anymore like that knowing the fear it might not get completed (ie. picked up for another season) so most shows you see now are half-assed because of this. It's a fucking shame how bad TV has become in the past 6 years alone. Every year seems to exponentially double the horrific tragedy of the season priors line up.
