PSX emulation is relatively easy. I just thought I'd make a thread about it to encourage people to get into it and save them the trouble of googling for resources.
Firstly, download the fuckerhttp://www.epsxe.com/
If you use anything other than epsxe, you're on your own.
Secondly, you want the PSX BIOS.
It's called scph1001.bin
Here's a filestube link, because download links go down often (the BIOS is copyright).http://www.filestube.com/search.html?q=scph1001+bin&select=All
Stick that in the BIOS folder of EPSXE.
Now, visit this link,http://forums.ngemu.com/epsxe-discussion/106182-zlib1-dll-not-found-fix-here.html
Get zlib.dll, place that in the root directory of the emulator. Fuck yeah, now that it's all set up. Time to get some FOMs, motherfucker.
PSX ROMs are .iso files (fittingly, as they're all discs) so when googling for more sources, make sure you know you're looking for iso files.
Also, you can run your own PSX games on the emulator, but be careful, the PSX was very sensitive to scratches.
