One of the best shows ever and my personal favourite. I just finished watching Season 5 promo and MAN I AM FREAKING OUT. This season [5] is going to be insane. I mean IT's GOING TO BE A TOTAL MIND FUCK!

Dexter will get cornered, Dexter will make mistakes, DEXTER will let his guard down and DEXTER WILL FALL!

I can't fucking wait for it.

    Fuck yes, I saw this the other day. It's like Doakes all over again, which is awesome. Dexter's going to be fucking crazy as shit this season.

    I felt so fucking torn up at the end of Season 4, can't wait to see the world's best serial killer in action though!

    Just finished the season 5 premier. It was dark, morbid, depressing & atmospheric. Things I find very pleasing.

    I wasn't impressed with the opener, to be honest. He did kill the fuck out of that dude with the anchor but other than that... meh. I mean I'm happy they got Rita out of the way, hopefully now they forget her bullshit and focus on Dexter VS Quinn/the PD.

    Even my mom called the episode boring.

    It wasn't that exciting as it should be but I think we all were expecting WAY TOO much from this. I blame the hype. I finished the fifth book just hours before this episode was released. I was pumped and jumping up and down with excitement. Hell, I even had my favorite knife with me.

    But the episode was a bit of a let down but I saw where it was going. In reality this season will kind of focus on Dexter growth into a human being. This time it's dexter trying to cope with life and everything under a fucking spotlight. The FBI and Quinn will make this season interesting, not to mention the kids taking Dexter time and reducing his favourite pass time into nothing.

    With Rita gone for good, his cover is blown and since we all know how bad Dexter is when it comes to being human you can see he will be desperate and not lets not forget the fucking loopholes. Although at the time of killing dexter was attending the wedding but what about after that.

    I feel this season will focus on Dexter desperation and frustrations more closely. For some reason, I might enjoy this and lol at random fuck scene. But damn, I will miss Rita boobs, I kinda liked her. Thank GOD the book is keeping people alive, it would totally suck if that happened in the book too.

    Btw the books and the series are separate to some extend but they do carry the general theme to the very end. Right now, fifth book is highly recommended if you plan to watch this season. It will help you take the edge off and really enjoy Dexter, the human fuck up :D

    Dexter Season 5 Episodes 8 was pretty good actually. I am glad the story is going somewhere.

    Episode 10 was exciting, frustrating and fulfilling. The writers are taking huge risks in making this season something unique. They're trying to improve Dexter image and take away his real self which we all enjoy. It's like they're trying to fit Dexter for everyone else. No longer is our Dexter that creepy calculated guy who thinks about cutting you in pieces and sending you to the depths of the sea.

    I kinda enjoy the risky Dexter but honestly if you really start to take things into account Dexter would have been busted long ago. I just hope they don't fuck up the ending. Oh they should have shown Lumen tits. I mean come on, where are the tits.

    So far in the fifth season Dexter is holding it down. He could kill more people though. Isn't it ironic many are finding this seasons flaw in the fact less people are being killed lol. I guess when you have seasons 1-3 setting the pace you kind of have to live up to it, although I see the storyline they are trying to mold though.

    Great ending. I love they way everything worked in the end and how they removed the extra garbage and kept everything together. It was kinda predictable but damn, Astor is becoming a fine ... fap material.

    Anyway, watch it. The finale didn't dissappoint much.

    In the book Debs knows about Dexter. They should take some pointers from the book. I faceplamed when they added the Dark Passenger angle which was present in book 2 and onwards and now all of a sudden they talk about it Season fucking 5 while they ignore this vital part in all other seasons. Wtf were they thinking.

    Plus they do talk about how they don't follow the books but in reality the general theme of the Season is closely related to the books.

    In the books Astor and Cody are being groomed to follow in his footsteps. The stories deviated after the first season, what the fuck is your point? He's been calling it a dark passenger all along you stupid fucking paki, maybe you were too distracted by your imam to notice.

    Not in that sense. The dark passenger in the book is different than the one we see on Dexter TV Series.
