No One Is Posting....Why?

Last couple of days, when I am on here two-three hours will go by with just a handul of post made...yet there has been 50+ visitors here at the same time with 2 to 5 members. What is up is so many luckers? Or is this common?

    They lurk the porn section. I get auto logged out if I don't keep posting and I imagine that happens to others, so that's probably why we have such a low online member count. We don't stay online if we idle.

    People have been busy with thanksgiving, I'm sure. I was gone for days. Once shit gets totally stable we'll promote totse and get more members.

    Oh nothing, we're mostly working on the cms www.totse.info/cms and fixing the layout and removing some issues. I have my hands ful so I can barely post but that's just a temporary issue. I am gearing things up a bit and getting ready to flex totse wings. Lurkers are good, don't hate them.

    Okay, as requested it's done. Try logging out or access the porn section. If the setting is correct you can view the section but not the thread content.

    I dunno, I haven't posted here in a while. Zoklet has more active members...

    I really like how good this site looks now though, shit is getting NICE. It loads fast too. Too bad all the users are at cocklet...

    I really aught to start posting here some more. The only reason I go to zoklet at all is for the variety of people who post there, which I imagine is the same for everybody who goes there.

    Don't you think totse should host it's own images so a year or more from now we don't have to worry about the pictures for the guides disappearing?

    Actually I did install a gallery module for Totse. I will finalize it and make a CMS image uploading... oh wait, the CMS already has that option built-in.

    Nice. I have no problems with the site for now then, but I'll be sure to let you know if I notice anything :D:D

    I'm installing OSx on my laptop later, so I'll be sure to let you know how the site looks and feels on a mac. May not be until the new LCD ribbon cable comes in, though.

    Hm, I guess I will have to use another module. This one is a bit complicated for my Editors and even me. Since it doesn't do waht I really want. I will still keep it because it's awesome for creating galleries.

    The average user doesn't really NEED access to the image hosting function anyway, do they? Next thing you know there would be OVER 9000 gotse galleries.

    Nope, they don't, CMS is independent. Unless you're an editor or an approved contributor you will not be allowed any access to it. The features I am adding will be used for books, magazine, totse galleries and stuff. Plus, CMS is a vital part of totse and I can't afford any fuck ups. I trust totse users but I am not an idiot. Even the Editor chosen we're carefully monitored for months. They have proved to be trustworthy and reliable. Hence they have access to it [plus they pretty much have access to all forums already].

    Maybe in future when I have tighly locked everything down, a new team will be added to help the editors [ when I say in future I mean in few weeks or so].

    EDIT: Registeration on CMS are closed by default. Only an admin can make an account for new users.

    That seems pretty acceptable. I was wondering about that.

    Forgot my password for a while and the captcha in the password resent didnt load up. I remembered it eventually, but cant stay logged in. Im currently posting from work :)

    The site looks slightly strange when running Ubuntu linux, probably due to the fonts the OS uses. Any ideas on how you can tweak this a little?

    Install True Type Fonts. A screenshot helps a lot btw.

    The site is looking better and better every day, so hopefully more people will come. I should start posting links on facebook again, but at the same time I recently purged my member list....

    Hell yeah. I'm actually at the stage now where I think I could link people here who I know IRL. But I'm not sure..
