O OP, I forgot to mention Conkeror runs on xulrunner (Firefox runtime environment) so you can use most of the extensions you'd get with Firefox. On the other hand, you may also experience the same issues with drive footprint.
I prefer to retain the ability to taste my food, so I go for Sriracha, Tabasco Chipotle, El Yucateco, and Cholula. Every once in a while I'll have some sort of habanero sauce, but on the whole I'm not interested in building the spice tolerance.
I don't like being stared at or given nasty looks and who knows when I might get laid,* so I try to look half-decent and be not too smelly when I go out. *I mean, it's been ages
Yeah man, it's pretty awesome when you can have a salad and a glass of water and feel just as energized as if you'd had a coffee, and then not crash later.
I drink mostly water and every once in a while (weeks to months apart) I'll end up popping a few hundred mg of caffeine because I need to stay up for something and don't have any amps. It definitely has a more pronounced effect, and I feel better overall, especially better than when I used to drink a ton of Barq's.
And it's mainly because there was no such thing as rock before that, and the more modern music isn't old enough for the shit to have filtered out, which itself isn't exactly such a profoundly exciting insight as some people seem to think.
I'd say late '50s through early '70s, including the later works of the bands that started in the early '70s like Queen and the Eagles. Around that time my interest gets a bit patchy; e.g., I don't much care for KISS. I also like Motown but I don't know if that counts.
The reason why people hold their silence, etc. even though they "have nothing to hide" is because there's always some bullshit that you forgot or don't know is illegal that will get you into trouble. You can never make it legally *worse* for yourself by not allowing the police anything they don't already have.
One time when I was visiting Austin I was walking down the sidewalk and it seemed like everyone was giving me dirty looks. I still have absolutely no idea why, unless they could tell I was high. But it was fucking Austin.
Bitlbee, because I can keep it running in an IRC client on a shell account, meaning I don't miss messages regardless of the state of my local machine, and it doesn't have a bunch of bullshit in it (stupid fonts, emoticon images). I also don't have to spend my own machine's resources on it. Supports every IM protocol anyone…
Re Outlook, I would highly recommend using File > Export. I've seen too many customers with several PSTs scattered around who lost mail because they only manually backed up one of them.
APAP doesn't become a problem until you take multiple whole grams at once. I don't know about codeine dosage but I'd think you should be able to have fun with it without the APAP being a problem.
I acquired some expired morphine solution in an eyedropper+vial. It sort of worked but nauseated me. It wasn't worth it. Overall unpleasant experience. Don't know about yours though.
Gaynglekai is just mad because no one cares about his pathetic attempts to undermine Totse. He's only still responding because there's nothing else he can do and still come away with enough dignity to live. We should feel sorry for him really. :o
Yeah man, I'm definitely trying that. I saw it earlier and it looks great. I don't want to be a fatass junk food vegan, so I make sure to eat mostly healthy, whole foods and all that sort of thing. I like fresh produce but it's expensive sometimes and I'm bad at using it all before it spoils. I don't take…
Thanks. It turns out I didn't cook them long enough. I cooked them with dried chopped onion in the pot, but that's obviously not ideal and I'm going to have fresh onion for the next batch. I'm a faggoty vegan so I'm not going for the bacon grease, but I know lard and the like gives it that unique taste that some people…
I take reasonable measures, nothing too stringent because I don't really do anything. I know how to work completely separately from my usual online identity when I need to, though. I mostly just avoid giving out every little bit of info about myself.
He definitely does. We in IT know a lot off the top of our heads, but not hardly everything. We expect to have to Google most things. That's what we're doing when we put you on hold to "look into it" or "check my resources". :P It gets to be a pain, though, when someone thinks that we *do* know everything already. "What…
If my customers knew I solve most of their problems by Googling them, I'd lose some of my job security. Some. They'd still be too lazy to do it. I don't mind that, though. The thing that really gets to me is when my coworkers in tech support ask questions that they should have known or that can be Googled. If I can Google…
Oh, is that how like if someone sues you and you don't show up, you automatically lose? Well, seeing as how I'm not risking anything here, it's at least fun to let you guys think it.
Hey, pointing out specifics is the burden you take on when you decide to criticize something like this. I didn't find so many as to called it "riddled" but I did find several unnecessary uses of the passive voice. There are some there that I would defend as necessary, the subject being indeterminate, but some could do with…
Yep, disrespect it is. I did it because I don't respect the Pledge. The people I saw were also verbally destroyed, but only because they lacked substance and conviction in their ideals. They hadn't thought it through well enough to argue with such a silly statement. Of course they don't respect the Pledge, the flag, the…
Sounds like you're not filtering properly. Everything in the house that uses a phone line except the DSL modem must have a filter. If you already have it like this, it's possible that the filter on the phone is bad, so try replacing it, switching in a spare, or testing with another device's filter. If you have filters at…
I improved speed by disabling IPv6 lookups in networking config at the OS. Does Google DNS only recently support IPv6? In that case would the related slowness no longer be an issue? Am I missing anything yet?
How direct do you mean? To the node? Or the premises? In either case I think the last bit of copper wouldn't affect anything so I assume you mean straight copper from the RT. I never had issues with VoIP on FTTN/FTTP services, but I could see that happening on ADSL.
I don't use most of those so maybe my response doesn't matter so much. I mostly just use XMPP voice chat. I like it because all manner of clients support it and it's Good Enough for my purposes. I don't typically voice chat in groups so I don't even know if XMPP handles that. I remember Mumble and Teamspeak 2 were all…
Hey, thanks for the review there. I like how you showed me what sentences have poor structure to demonstrate your point, because that would have been a pretty weak statement on its own. I also found your explanation of why the bit about the police was unrelated to be quite fascinating. I learned a lot from it, thanks. I'm…
Hey, I know you're busy and all and this isn't a huge deal but I wanted to let you know it's still going on. I never posted in any of these threads and it's a bit confusing because I tend to forget where I posted and I end up checking all these anyway to see what I said, etc. Just a heads-up.
The fact that this thread belongs here according to the forum description. How do you call yourself a troll? You didn't even realize I wrote the article until halfway through the thread. I thought good trolls were supposed to be smart.
You're funny. You think you're a "grand master troll" and what's your tactic? Making plainly false statements and hoping no one will think about them at all? Yeah that's real clever.
lol fuck off man, you think I come to TOTSE to give a shit about my e-dignity? Playing with mo-rons like you is too fun to quit. I think you're just mad 'cause you're wrong and a Texan is right.
Did I say anyone ITT didn't know this? Look who can't read now.* I wrote it, idiot. I've known this practically since I was on the internet but only more recently realized what a hopeless stupid twat everyone is that they need to be reminded of things like this, which shouldn't even need a SCOTUS ruling about it. Is the…
