Their best means of defense against std’s is to only sleep with other tested actors/actresses, or their significant others.
7. On Twitter: when a girl says “I need a dick”, or something of the like… they don’t. They are saying things like this to get a reaction from their fans, and give them the illusion that they have a chance.
8. Those gigantic 15 inch dicks you see… FAKE. good god they are FAKE.
9. Male actors in the industry… It’s odd to say, but quite a few of the straight actors get bored with women. I won’t say who, but a few of them started sleeping with transgenders and men just to mix up their sex lives. And now a few of those guys are now on the gay side of the industry.
10. Working in the industry… you learn how to deal with OSHA. FUCK OSHA.
11. Probably something I shouldn’t say, but MOST well known actresses are prostitutes. I know of a couple girls who have told me their “weekend rate” is $80,000 for 2 days of company and sex. One of them clears $1.5 million a year doing this.

 

My girlfriend is an ex-porn star. Big enough that if you walk into a sex shop anywhere in the US, you will find her DVD’s on display. She retired a few years ago, and told me a lot about the industry and a bunch of stories from back when she was in. 

1. Porn is fake. Very, very fake. This is obvious, but my girlfriend can’t enjoy or take professional porn seriously. The actors don’t much enjoy themselves, to them, it’s just a job. Between cuts, people have their make-up reapplied, talk with their agents, or with their wives/significant others on the phone. They are not into it. 6. It’s EASY to get expensive shit for free for the girls. They all have Twitter and Facebook, and wealthy fans shower them with gifts. My girlfriend got free top-of-the-line Macbook Pros, Ipads, and other expensive electronics from fans, and all they had to do was send a care package.
7. A care package consists of a couple of worn panties, a signed DVD and poster, maybe a mouse pad. Little things like that. Fans will pay $300-500 for a care package and rich ones send even more: see #6.
8. If you are an average guy like me and your dream is to talk with a pornstar, it’s VERY easy to arrange. Like I said, they all have Twitter and Facebook, and at least one public email. All you have to do is make semi-intelligent small talk and ask for a care package, and if the girl likes your email, you can actually have a back-and-forth with them. They are people too, and they appreciate fans who are not insane. My girlfriend has several fans she emails with, just because they seem like cool guys with something interesting to say, and not blatantly try to be creeps. 9. Speaking of fans, there are MANY wealthy people who are crazy into porn. These people will take pornstars on cruises, and spend literally hundreds of thousands of Dollars on them yearly, as long as the girl agrees to spend some time with them in person — say, a weeklong cruise or trip every couple of months. Sex is optional. These guys just like being a sugardaddy. I know several physicians and one of the higher-up Google managers who spend ridiculous amounts on girls.
10. Unfortunately, there are broke guys who are crazy into porn too. I’ve seen guys send my girlfriend checks for $200-300 they have to save up over weeks, just for a small care package. I can tell they are broke and they are piecing together the money. I feel sorry for them.
11. As for prostitution, the $80,000 figure sounds insane to me (although I don’t doubt it). But for $2500-4000, you too can bang a pornstar for a couple of hours.

3. Please be careful sticking anything up your ass. I’ve seen things go horribly wrong in that area. Prolapses, things being up there that shouldn’t be up there and breaking, etc. just be careful.
4. It’s a cut throat industry. Folks who work in the industry participate on industry only forums and it’s like stepping back into high school reading some of those threads. Loyalty is extremely rare in the industry and they will be quick to stab you in the back if they feel they can get away with it. ripping you off for money? yup all the time. People scamming affiliate networks for higher payouts on revshares etc? yup all the time. One guy in the biz could be a saint one day and the lowest of the low the next only cause he got caught.
5. It’s a very secretive business. Why? because of the loyalty issue. Porn companies will never disclose exactly how much they make on their sites or how well overall they’re doing. If they feel their employees are talking too much they will fire them (I got fired a few years ago because of an AMA I did on reddit about the porn industry)
6. People actually will complain about the quality of the porn they view. They will send emails on a daily basis complaining. The biggest complainers about their porn? homosexual men. And i’m not talking about paying customers, i’m saying homosexual men who are viewing a free product will complain. Straight people? not such much…unless their paying for it THEN they will complain more so than gay men. People are really weird about their porn. incredibly specific.
7. People who signed up the most to pay for gay porn? Straight men mainly from the southern US. People who complained about “false charges” to their credit cards? Straight men mainly from the southern US. who do I know this? because every email would clearly state how they were married and how “straight” they were.
8. No fluffers don’t exist anymore. they have viagara now.

Khan Tusion, an Asshole:

Khan Tusion is the biggest asshole in the universe. You guys may know him as the guy who created Meatholes and other Rough Sex series. I am a big fan of very rough sex, so long as the performers are comfortable and boundaries are respected. Khan completely disregards the females. He disguises his voice behind his camera.

Just some of the things he has done:

• Regan Starr was in one of his movies released by Anabolic Video. In this scene, she was choked, pinched, slapped, punched repeatedly with fists, thrown over a man’s shoulder, in addition to being continuously insulted and verbally abused. It got so bad that she was in tears, hysterical and begging them to stop shooting. They would not stop shooting. They kept shooting the scene all through her pleas to stop. • In an interview on Danny Wylde’s blog, Kimberly Kane states that “I had a situation where I met Khan Tusion, the guy from Meat Holes [a controversial line of porn films]. I was twenty. And he tried to strangle me. This was not even on camera. This was like him strangling me in a bathroom somewhere. And it was terrible. And I thought, “Oh my god, I’m gonna be murdered, this sucks. Everyone was right. Porn’s so evil.” But he’s like the most evil person to ever come into porn. He is like that nightmare that every mother and father who’s child is in porn is like, “That’s who they’re working with every day. It’s Khan Tusion.”
• One of my great friends, Ashley Blue (Oriana Small), wrote a book entitled Gilvert and it chronicles the time she met Khan. You can either watch her read it here but it is kinda NSFW because you can see the scene play in the back, but it gives an idea of what she went through. Here’s an excerpt if you prefer that. The one thing you need to realize about the porn industry is that it’s very scary. You only have so much control, especially if you have an agency who helps you. You can only to so much before you can’t do anything else. Women already have lists of men she refuses to work with. She can be told that a scene will be ____ but when she gets there, she does something totally different. Once you walk onto that set, all eyes are on you and it can sometimes be hard to say “no”. A lot of these girls need the money and end up getting into things they don’t want to do, especially if they are new to the industry. I’ve seen many friends drop out of the industry after experiencing everything from health risks to abuse. It’s not as easy as it seems and people like Khan just make the porn industry even worse.

I know a guy who works as a driver in the Northern California gay porn industry. He’s always telling stories about what he’s seen on the “inside.” According to him, there’s usually a “goody bag” at the set to help the male stars keep it up and last longer. Viagra, cialis, numbing creams, cocaine, and some kind of penis injections.

HIV:

I seem to a remember a guy contracting HIV while shooting in Brazil, a tranny/boy scene I think. Anyway he came back to America and did a porno and gave 3 girls HIV. One of them was a first timer… doing anal. That’s why now they are very heavy with HIV testing.

You would also be surprised with how many actually enjoy it.

Don’t think this is a secret but there are a lot of slimeballs out there. Bring girls in saying they will do one thing then when they arrive change the whole script then threaten/blackmail them if they resist. They also abuse and refuse to let the girls quit mid-shoot. If you’ve ever seen Max Hardcore films you’d know what i’m talking about.

What does OSHA do?

Health and Safety codes. They come in checking for condoms on set (there must always be condoms available to the actors/actresses), making sure the crew is properly dressed to shoot (for example, when we shoot squirt videos, we have to wear ponchos, goggles, masks, and gloves), making sure fire lanes are clear, and that the building is up to code and a safe environment to shoot production in.

A real porn star talks:

It’s all acting. We enjoy it, but it’s planned, spoken out, agreed and then acted on. Nothing happens without explicit consent from all partied. There are no surprises during filming. Thats not to say it isn’t intense. During BDSM filming I really am scared, or blindfolded or whatever, but all actions only. Body are consented to before hand, usually in writing, and there is always a safety word.

Good looks in men don’t matter at all in “normal” porn.

Attractiveness is only important for an actor in gay porn.

The secret is not to think that is how people usually have sex. If you are young and you think that every girl you will bang walks around with perfect tits and a neatly trimmed whisker biscuit you are mistaken my friend.

EDIT: Most actors don’t get paid as much as you’d think. However, some of them do get paid pretty well and are even on salary contracts. Their entire lives consist of looking good, staying healthy, and fucking for a living. What a life.

EDIT: Almost forgot, I used to come up with a lot of the crappy scripts you’ve probably seen. For instance, there is one where the actress is at school and gets hurt and the coach comes to her aid. He asks where it hurts and she keeps pointing to certain spots and then they start a hardcore fuck sesh. That was me!

A Porn Store Manager speaks up:

I was the manager of a porn store for six years and the big secret about porn that nobody knows. You know that extra special super secret stash of porn we keep hidden behind the counter that’s full of pedophilia, chicks fucking barn animals and snuff films?

I mean, who the hell ever thinks of reading the columns of a porn trade magazine but I did out of sheer boredom and I found them to be somewhat vitriolic at best.
