MILITARY AIRCRAFT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Service aircraft bear national insignia which is normally a motif based on national colors. Most countries have an associated fin flash (symbol on the tail) which in some cases is the same as the national flag for that country.
Most military aircraft, East & West, Employ Aravic numerals (Normal numbers) for individual identification. A major exception are the countries of the Middle East which use a different numerical system.
One country that carries both civil & military markings on its transport aircraft is Isreal.
