Have you ever needed an extra boost with your 12 gauge shot gun? This phile will tell you haow to make incendiary shells. To do this you will need the following:
- a 12 gauge shot gun
- As many 12 gauge shot gun shells as you like
- powdered magnesium
- match heads
- petrolium jelly
- paper towel
- plastic wrap
- hair dryer
- exacto knife
- model glue
- a plastic spoon
- plastic baggie (the sandwich type)
- a metal washer the with the same diamiter as the shot gun shell
Step 1
Assuming that you have all of the materials, take the exacto knife and cut the shot gun shell 1/3 of an inch from the top. Cut it all the way around and as smoothly as posible. Remove the buckshot or slug it will not be used later in this opperation.
Step 2
Put the petrolium jelly and the magnesium together in the sandwich bag and mix them evenly. Scoop the mixture out with the spoon and put it into a square of paper towel. Make the goo into a sphear and wrap the towel around it. Now put the match heads into the bach of the sphear. Wrap all of this in a layer of plastic wrap and melt it with the hair dryer.
Step 3
Put the fire ball onto the plastic retainer in the shot gun shell. Make sure that the match heads are facing the gun powder. Then use the glue to attach the top of the shell again. Let the glue dry before using the shell. Shells are best used within a ~month after making.
