Extracting Salvinorin A & Using It.

Requirements:
· Salvia Divinorum foliage (30-50grams)
· Solvent, food grade (acetone, DCM, IPA, DCM gives best yield)
· 2 – 3 glass jars
· Access to a heat lamp, sun or oven
· Muslin cloth
Method:
1. Chill the Salvia Divinorum foliage & solvent
2. Fill 2 jars with 500-1000mL’s solvent
3. Break up & soak foliage in one jar
4. Shake jar (30min hard shaking) or heat & soak (heat: ~30min, soak: 10hours)
5. Use muslin cloth to strain foliage from solvent, keep solvent
6. Add foliage to jar #2
7. Repeat steps: 3 & 4, keep solvent
8. If desired, do a further 3rd repeat of step’s 3 & 4 (not necessary)
9. Boil / heat until solvent evaporates; do not exceed 170° C as this is vaporisation temp. For Salvinorin A – There are two methods for this, see below.
Sunlight Drying (or heat lamps)
· Do in a WELL-ventilated area, preferably inside with windows open.
· Use a flat baking type tray, for max surface area
· Carefully pour solvent from jars A, B & possibly C (if you did a 3rd repeat)
· Let dry until a thick syrup is obtained
· You may use Salvia leaf to soak this up for smoking.
Precipitation
· Boil down on stove, till about ½ volume
· Pour remaining solvent into bucket or large container, add water until a precipitate is formed (solution goes cloudy)
· Use coffee filters or filter paper to collect Salvinorin A crystals, and make a “blotter” type salvia.
Notes:
If you extract the Salvinorin A from 5 grams of Salvia foliage, and then coat 1g leaves, this is equivalent to 5X extract sold online. Same goes for 10X, 15X & 20X.

I cannot advise dosage, I suggest dividing the blotter into like 5 or 10 pieces, dependant on how much filtrate you put through it, try one under the tongue, if it don’t work, quickly take another one.
