The other day I was bored and searching for something new to try with my body and that's when it hit me - caffeine pills. So I went to a gas station and bought me a pack of stay awake pills. Basically they are 200mg of caffeine in each pill and they came in 16 pills packages and each package was about 3-4 dollars. After taking 4 pills, I was as jumpy and excited as could be. I found I was able to do things about twice as quickly as normal, my mood was pretty good and I was just feeling hyperproductive. The only thing I had to worry about was to slow my talking down when I was around my parents. I didn't even experience any hangover symptoms from caffeine withdraw. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting high, or trying new things or being hyperproductive for a day. Caffeine even made it so that I could perform my weight-lifting workout faster and easier.

Caffeine is classed as an amphetamine which means that it speeds up brain activity, pulse, muscle tension, blood pressure, blood sugar and basically gives you lots of energy. The half life of caffeine in the body is 4-5 hours which means that if you consume 200mg of caffeine at 1 o'clock then at 5:30 you will have 100mg of caffeine still affecting you.

Caffeine works by blocking a brain chemical called adenine from getting to certain receptors which in turn stimulates a release of adrenaline and increases brain activity. The only down side of caffeine is that if you use it consistently for a week and then stop then you will get withdrawel headaches that last about 1-2 days.

Chocolate 10-20mg
Coke/soft drinks 45mg
Mountain Dew 55mg
tea 70mg *Varies tremendously
coffee 100-150mg
caffeine pills 200mg

* I drink about 5 cokes a day which gives me up to about 240mg of caffeine daily, so I would be able to tolerate 4 pills with no problem. I recommend that you take care not to take too many especially if you have any circulatory problems, epilepsy, diabetes, heart conditions, or are not used to caffeine.

* I take no responsibility for your actions. If you die that's your problem. If you get injured, too bad.
