Ayhuasca is a visionary brew used by shamans in South America to produce vivid hallucinations. The two plants involved are Psychotria Viridis (chacruna) and Banisteriopsis Caapi (Yage). Chacruna contains up to 200% DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) and is the active hillucinogen but in order to make it orally active one needs a good MAO inhibitor, and that's where Yage comes in. Both of these plants are widely available on the net.
To produce this sacred brew one needs:
- Yage vines
- Chacruna leaves
- Boiling water and 1 or 2 cups
Many prefer to take the yage brew 40 or so minutes before before the chacruna to open their tryptamine receptors. If you don't have a lot of brew you should deffinetly do it this way to make the trip worth it.
Stoop the leaves and ground vines in a cup of hot water like you would tea. Start with 1 or 2 t-spoons per cup and find your preferred dose I've made ayhuasca with a 10 cup coffee maker before; this works well.
