John Doe claims all of his information is true, and he attempts to dispell some common myths concerning drugs. He wraps up his article by stating, "Nothing here is bullshit..." To which, I respond, "BULLSHIT!"
Some of the bullet points which I have major problems with are as follows:

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) will not get you high. Www.erowid.org has an entire section of trip reports submitted by people who have tripped very intensely on Diphenhydramine, which says otherwise!

Ultram is not a narcotic, and will not produce any feelings of euphoria.
Again, erowid proves otherwise through numerous trip reports. While it is true that Tramadol (Ultram is the brand name) is not a narcotic, it is a synthetic narcotic...making it quasi-narc. I have had some pretty extensive use of Tramadol, and I can personally vouch that it does provide a mild euphoria, and a complete control of anxiety and completely dissipates any feelings of stage-fright. Doses of 250-400mg of Tramadol are needed to achieve these terrific effects, however, and high doses like that are dangerous in that they can trigger seizures in people with a latent possibilty of having a seizure. One quick example of it controlling stage fright: The first time I performed stand up comedy in front of a New York City crowd was at the world famous Improv Comedy Club. I had orally taken and insufflated a combined dose of between 400 and 450 mgs of Tramadol. There were over 230 people in the audience, and yet, I was not in the slight bit nervous, and I was completely capable of keeping my emotions in check. Tramadol is also extremely useful in reducing the negative effects of opiate withdrawal.

Finally, John Doe mentions that Oxycontin will produce "instant OD" when grinded up...That I also personally know to be false. While the possibility does exist for Overdosing when grinding the pills up to either insufflate the powder, to parachute the powder, or to simply chew the pill and swallow it (any method of breaking the pill eliminates the time-release function, and releases all of the Oxycodone all at once, providing the user with an incredible, speedy, and euphoric rush.) It is true that a first time user, or someone with very little opiate tolerance can get seriously ill, and possibly even die from depressed breathing through bypassing the time release mechanism of Oxycontin...however, Instant Overdose is not guaranteed to happen.
John Doe's text file obviously was meant to be sarcastic and funny, and I will admit, most of it was funny and did make me laugh! It also was written pretty well. I just felt I needed to pen a response to a couple of his points which might perhaps spread even more misinformation that is out there!
