Chapter One

A few minutes after all the information has been downloaded, a bright
flash emanated from all the screens in Ops. It bathed everyone in a
bright searing light.
"What was that?" Sisko said, to no one in particular.
Chief O'Brien got to his station and smashed his fist on the computer
panels. "The damn thing is down again," he exclaimed, with a hint of
frustration creeping into his voice. Then Doctor Julian Bashir's voice
came over the intercom.
"Commander, all the computers in Infirmary is down. There was this bright
flash. Any idea what happened?"
"No, but Chief O'Brien is working on it....." Sisko then tugged at his
collar, and turned to O'Brien.
"Chief, I thought you fixed the environmental controls in here," Sisko
asked, irritably. "I did, Sir, but you are right, it is getting warm
in here isn't it....."
Sisko then turned, and look at Kira, and wondered why he has never noticed
that she is so sexy. Before he realized he was staring, Kira has walked
up to him, and said in her sensual voice, "Commander, there is something
I would like to discuss with you, in private....."
"In my office, Major," Sisko, replied, almost too quickly, leading the
way to his office.
Inside, Kira, whirled around, and spoke to the computer, "Computer, lock
doors!" Then to Sisko, "Commander, I am not used to being coy, so I'm
going to come right out, and say it. Commander, I want to fuck you," she
