Immortal Beloved(weird Star Trek fantasy), Part Tw

All stories on this web site are purely FICTIONAL. The people depicted within these stories only exist in someone's IMAGINATION. Any resemblence between anyone depicted in these stories and any real person, living or dead, is an incredible COINCIDENCE too bizarre to be believed. If you think that you or someone you know is depicted in one of these stories it's only because you're a twisted perverted little fucker who sees conspiracies and plots where none exist. You probably suspect that your own MOTHER had sex with ALIENS and COWS and stuff. Well, she didn't. It's all in your head. Now take your tranquilizers and RELAX.

IMMORAL BELOVED (A Love Showdown Starring Kes, Neelix, and the Doctor)

Part 2 - Darling Kes

Kathryn looked up from her pad as the door chime to her ready
room sounded. She shivered uncontrollably. The last time a door chime had
resounded, it had been the idiotic Tom Paris interrupting a very naughty
dream the captain had been having about her crew, particularly the
stalwart First Officer, Commander Chakotay.
But the person at the door was not Paris. It was a Talaxian who
for some unknown reason had decided to start attacking the unawares
Voyager. While not a serious threat, the incident had to be investigated.
Even in the Delta Quadrant, people did not just go around firing at one
another for no reason.
Kathryn had considered asking Neelix, the Voyager's own resident
Talaxian and "Morale Officer Extraodinare," to attend this little
conference. But perhaps a one on one situation would prove more helpful
at this juncture.
"Come," Janeway called with throaty authority, releasing the lock
on the door. She made ready to stand up from her work desk as the entrance
opened.
She never even got a chance to say "Hello."
A Talaxian female, dressed in leather and fur, barreled into the
room, preceeding a flustered pair of Tuvok's security team. The men tried
to restrain the orange haired hellion, but she bore down on Janeway so
quickly that the Starfleet captain actually collapsed back into her seat
in surprise. Kathryn felt her jaw drop even as the intruder spoke.
"Another woman?" the other woman thundered. "Alack! This tug be
overrun with bizarre but basic womanhood! All from saucy B'Elanna Torres
to you who sits her female parts in the seat of command. By Gygar's feet,
how I shall make thee pay if you be the one! If you be the lady cur who
has stolen my place at the side of Neelix of Talax, I make a promise that
you shall know exquisite agony to match you debauched doings with my dear
one. So swears the daughter of Galax of Talax. So swears Kalaxis!"
Kathryn's mind whirled in a chaotic vortex, absorbing as best it
could the strange bursting words uttered by this Kalaxis woman.
But the true Captain Janeway came to the fore.
Most angrily.
The two security guards gulped with knowing fear as their
commanding officer sat up in her chair, folding her dainty hands neatly
in front of her on the desk. A well known sign that Hurricane Kathryn was
about to spill forth.
"Let's get some things straight here, Kalaxis," Kathryn uttered
with silky malice. "First off, welcome aboard. I'm Captain Kathryn Janeway
of the Federation Starship Voyager. We are on a peaceful mission of
exploration and research, but our main goal is to find a way back to our
own part of the galaxy. We are not here by choice. We were forced into
this situation. Our intentions are not hostile by any means or form."
As she went on, Kathryn slowly rose. "So you can imagine my
chagrin when a wild, insane woman from God's knows where comes throttling
out of deep space, firing all thrusters and bearing all arms on MY ship.
And when she is brought aboard MY ship, she has the EXTREME discourtesy to
threaten ME in my own goddamn friggin 'ready room!"
Kalaxis gulped, barely registered in Kathryn's keen eyes.
"This has to do with Neelix. What is he to you?"
Kalaxis turned aside to look out the windows of the office. The
alien woman was tempered somewhat, but her folded arms still showed her
inner defiance. "That is the question I asked you first, Federation
Janeway. What be the relationship between thee and my mate?"
"Mate?" Kathryn mimiced. Although Neelix had rambled on about
many of the so-called fascinating aspects and actions of his life, he had
never produced for her a detailed biography. And his connection to Kes
(Ugh boy! What about poor Kes?!) had erased any notion that Neelix was
endeared to another. "Neelix is your... spouse?"
Kalaxis shrugged. "In the important ways that matter. No formal
bond of law exists, but he knows we are destined.
Or perhaps not, thought the captain dryly. "I see. Well, as to
answer you inquiry about my status with Neelix, he's a valued ally and
friend. He came aboard to help us navigate our way through your quadrant
of the galaxy."
At this, Kalaxis returned her look to Janeway. The expression now
was one of incredulous mirth. "What?! You take him aboard as guide and
path finder? La! That be a laughing fit in itself!"
Kathryn ground her teeth.
"But he would not come aboard so easily and out of good will.
Something aboard did charm his way to yours." Kalaxis leaned forward over
the desk separating the women. "I assumed it to be a female favor. I have
heard from the whispering voices of the spaceways that there is a Talaxian
male aboard a strange and," Kalaxis paused to look around the ready room
with a contemptuous sneer. "Marvelous starship from worlds away. And this
certain Talaxian has with him a most favored paramour, whose detail and
bearing I have yet to discern. Tell me, Federation Janeway. Be any of this
galactic gossip true?"
Kathryn leaned forward, now face to face with the sparring guest.
Kalaxis had certainly put her on the spot. What should I tell her? I
can't betray someone like Kes to this Pirate Wench from Hell. But if I
just eject Kalaxis from Voyager, she'll eventually be back one day.
Kathryn touched her comm badge, opening a channel. "Janeway to
Neelix. Report to my ready room on the double." A thought occurred. What
if Kes tagged along? "On the double and ALONE."
There was no vocal response from Neelix's end, but he must have
heard.
And feared.

Neelix felt the sweat gather in the small of his back. His
nostrils flared as he drank in air more desperately, as if drowning. His
hopes had been dashed and his suspicions had been validated.
It was indeed "her" after all.

Down in Sickbay, Kes knew something was wrong. Though separated by
bulkheads and decks, she could feel anxiety swelling up in Neelix like a
balloon. So transfixed by this empathic networking, the Ocampa did not
hear the voice of the Emergency Medical Hologram calling to her from his
office.
"Kes? Are you all right?" the odd, clipped tones of the balding
light construct queried out of the doorway, across to the diagnostic bed
where Kes loomed over an unconscious crew member.
The medical assistant snapped back to her immeadiate reality. She
nervously faced the Doctor. "I'm sorry. I... I'm afraid my mind was
elsewhere. Something is wrong with Neelix. I... I can feel it."
The fabricated physician tilted his head as he approached Kes,
looking at her with analytical interest. And genuine concern. "What is it
you are experiencing? Is it like when you were contacted by the displaced
mind of Commander Chakotay?"
"No. Not at all. It's just... a feeling that he's very frightened.
Something is wrong." She was already heading for the exit. "Excuse me,
Doctor. I've got to go. I'll be back as soon as possible."
The confused construct nodded absently as his trainee dashed away
to side of her loved one. The Doctor had gotten quite used to the routine;
that when Kes departed from Sickbay, it was usually to fall into the arms
of Mr. Neelix.
But still, after so long, it annoyed him.

"Ever had a knuckle sandwich?"
Kalaxis peered at Kathryn quizzically.
"If you don't settle down I'll feed you one," Janeway warned. The
two women had taken seats at the desk while waiting for the man of the
hour to show. In fact, it almost felt like an hour had passed since
Kathryn had paged the errant Neelix to the ready room. She was about to
do so again when the chime twittered.
Kathryn shivered again in denied, erotic memory before responding.
"Come in."
The doors parted.
Revealing a drenched Neelix.
He stood outside on the edge of the Voyager bridge, silent and
fumbling with his hands, casting his gaze toward the deck.
Although she had dismissed the security personell, Kathryn had been
prepared for Kalaxis to lunge and tackle her "mate" on first sight. But
all the avenging woman did was sit in her chair facing Kathryn, not even
cocking her head slightly to look at the new arrival.
"Come in, Mr. Neelix," Kathryn beckoned. "I beleive you... know
this woman."
Neelix inched into the office. "Yes ... I do, captain. H-Hello...
K-Kalaxis," he stuttered, trying to remain out her grasp.
Kalaxis swelled her ample chest and stared at the wall behind
Janeway. "Greetings, Neelix of Talax. This has been long time in coming."
Slowly, she swiveled her head to look upon her prey.
"And I am far from amused," she finished.
The captain of Voyager tried to recall where in her list of duties
the task of being Interpersonal Relationship Counselor fell. Sigh. Heavy
is head of she who wears four pips on her collar. "Let me make things
clear for both of you. I don't understand all of your grievances, but I
will not allow brawling aboard MY ship. Neelix, this... person claims that
she is more or less your wife and that you have been derelict in your
husbandly duties. I'd like to know if that's true or not."
Neelix wet his cracked lips and mumbled. "I-It's not so simple,
captain. While we're not exactly bonded and true, I was... betrothed to
Kalaxis by my parents."
Kathryn arched a brow. This was new. A man promised to a woman
instead of the other way around? How progressive for the Delta Quad.
"But I left Talax with the express intention of never returning,"
the man spoke more willingly, forcefully. "She knows that I never intended
to marry her."
Kalaxis stood, making Neelix recoil. "If you had no intent on
sharing my bed for life, why did you share my bed at all?"
Whoa! Kathryn exclaimed inside.
"Do you deny that we shared passion?" Kalaxis questioned
rhetorically. "Do you refute that you touched my woogie and fondled my
habali?"
This time Kathryn gasped audibly. "Oh my! Neelix!"
His blush betrayed the truth.
Kalaxis turned to Kathryn with a triumphant grin. "See then,
Federation Janeway? He admits his culpability. I know not your customs
and laws, if you have any at all regarding matters like this. But by the
Scrolls of Talax and the Wisdom of Gygar, Neelix is sworn to be my companion
perpetual. He has tasted my glimglam. By law, that is binding."
"Tough law," Kathryn swore. If every man who had ever tasted the
delights of Kathryn's own "glimglam" would have had to have married her,
she'd be besieged by enough husbands to man the bridge. And the stellar
cartography lab to boot!
Neelix was almost shaking at this point, with mixed fear and
anger. He thought he had gone far enough, lost himself for long enough to
escape the grasping clutches of this woman from his past. While he freely
admitted to sleeping with Kalaxis, never had he intended the dalliance to
evolve further. "Why are you doing this? Why are you foolishly chasing me
when you could have any elligible man on Talax and beyond? Don't you see
that I don't love you?!"
The deadly silence following chilled both Kathryn's and Neelix's
bones.
"Don't love?" Kalaxis parroted. "Neigh. I do not indeed see that
you do not love me! All I see is a quivering mass of manhood. All I see
is a simpering escapist who has sown wild oates with others. I see no
love for another in you at all!"
The door chime again.
"Go away!" Kathryn ordered the person seeking entrance. This
office is crowded enough as is.
The chime sounded again.
Neelix and Kalaxis turned to look at the egress with interest.
"I said go away!" Kathryn again issued.
The chime sounded again. No explanation from the person outside,
no identification either. Sigh. The more people, the more murderous, Kathryn
conceded. "All right! Come in!"
The doors hissed open.
Neelix gasped.
Kathryn's jaw nearly came unhinged.
Kalaxis was still confused.
And in the doorway, Kes the Ocampa stood, small and beautiful,
delicate in frame but concerned in her features. She looked to each face
in the room. First Neelix. Then Janeway. Then...
Their eyes locked.
Kes somehow "knew" who this Talaxian female was.
And Kalaxis realized the nature of this frail "thing."
"Neelix, what's going on?" Kes demanded, not wishing for another
excuse like he had given her earlier.
"Nay! This cannot be!" Kalaxis breathed.
"Dearest, please!" Neelix tried to push Kes back out of the office,
even as the doors closed. "Now is not the time for this! Please!!"
Kathryn agreed. "Kes, I think It's best if you..."
Kalaxis cut off Kathryn's counsel. "Dearest? Kes? Kes? Be that
your silly name, dearie child?"
The Ocampa did not care for the Talaxian's tone at all. "Yes it
is. I am Kes. Who are you?"
"Kalaxis of Talax, a woman more true than you shall ever be!"
"Kal, please!" Neelix turned his assuaging powers on the
ex-flame.
"Kal?" Kes echoed with angry interest.
"Indeed," the woman bowed her head. "La! I must admit to surprise.
Never in all my hateful imaginings did I envision the slut who turned my
man away from me to be a bit a pallid flesh with straw for hair and rocks
for breasts!"
"Ouch!" Janeway winced.
Kes was known by all aboard the Voyager to be a quiet, sensitive
young woman. Thoughtful and sympathetic.
No one had ever seen her dark side.
Til now.
With an iron expression of defiance, she walked up to the taller
Kalaxis and burned her own flashing eyes into Talaxian's beady orbs. "I
may be scrawny, Kal or whatever your sorry excuse for a name is, but at
least I'm not some desperate, overweight pig who has to resort to
stealing a man to get a man."
"Kes!" Neelix and Kathryn chorused, shocked.
"The bit has a bark!" Kalaxis roared. "Does she have a bite, I
wonder? Or is it all hot air inside, keeping her hips wide and behind
enlarged?"
"Ohhhhhh nooooooo," moaned Neelix.
Kes put her hands on her hips and thrust one to the side. She
tilted her head more to look down her nose at Kalaxis. "From the stench
rolling out of your mouth, Kally, I wouldn't go around insulting others.
It must be tough not to be attractive to either men OR women."
Kathryn cleared her throat, desperate to regain control of the
situation. "Um, ladies, we are all civilized beings here. Why don't we sit
down and have a nice cup of tea and sort this thing out properly?"
Both Kal and Kes shot Kath a "What are you? Crazy!" look.
"Or maybe not," Janeway muttered.
"Did he tell you of me? Did he say how I made him scream with
pleasure to the moons above?" Kalaxis went on.
"No. Are you sure you didn't imagine him saying that?" Kes
returned. "When NeeNee and I make love, people on the other end of the ship
complain about the noise we make."
"Good harmonics no doubt!" countered Kal.
Kathryn was about to back up Kes' claim (For she had once been
aroused from sleep by Neelix's whoops of whoopie.) but decided not to.
"Stop it! Stop it, please!" begged Neelix of both. "Kalaxis, I'm
sorry I abandoned you. Kes, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But it's all
past and done. Kalaxis is the past and Kes is my present... and I hope...
my future. I love Kes, Kalaxis. Totally and unconditionally."
"It's true!" Janeway asserted. "Why, Mr. Neelix loves Kes so much
it's down right scary! He's so paranoid that someone else is going to
steal her away that I've considered putting him on psycho-supressant
medication. He loves her that much!"
Hardly offended, Neelix was thankful for the captain's two-handed
helping. "Yes! I'm truly madly in love with her. Right, my darling?"
Kes shot Neelix a stare so hot he felt his blood bubble.
As for Kalaxis, she now eyed the Ocampa with less contempt. But
her general ire had not faded. "My my. Such impassioned protests. What say
you on this, Kessy? Do you love Neelix so as he purports to love you?"
Kes licked her lips and batted her eyes. "At the moment, I'm not
too thrilled with him. But yes, I do love him. And I challenge you to say
otherwise."
"Oh no. No!" Neelix screeched, tearing at his swatch of hair.
"Kalaxis! She doesn't mean it! She doesn't understand..."
Kathryn was the only person who inhaled when Kalaxis backhanded
Neelix into the wall. Kes was not even rocked by the assault.
"A challenge. A Love Showdown," savored Kalaxis. "Very well. Here
be the deal. At a place and time of your choosing, being I am not without
generosity, you and Neelix must copulate to coitus while I look on,
appraising your love making abilities."
Kes had not been prepared for this outcome to her challenge. In
fact, she had actually been bluffing. "W-What do you mean? That's sick!
I'm not going to let Neelix screw me while you watch!"
Neelix groggily looked up at Kes as Kathryn knelt by his side.
"S-Screw? What does that mean?"
"Make love. Tom Paris told me about it."
"Paris!" Neelix cringed. Talk about insult on injury.
"Are you fearful, dearie child?" Kalaxis taunted. "Cannot you
prove your desire for him as so? And I ask you all, what other way is
there to physically prove that a man loves a woman and so forth? Is not
the joining of bodies the only tangible proof we have?"
"That's debatable," argued Kathryn. "Love and sex are not always
one in the same, Kalaxis. At least in my society."
"But this is not your society, Federation Janeway! You are in our
world now!" Kalaxis rumbled, almost humbling the captain. "And in the
views of the Talaxians, love and sex are indeed one and the same."
"D-Dearest," Neelix reached for Kes, pleading. "Don't do it!
She'll just kill you... and ME.. anyways!"
Kes glanced to her fallen man, considering his insight. What was
to stop Kalaxis from chopping them up even if they did "pass" this
outrageous test? Captain Janeway and the others wouldn't let Kalaxis get
away of course, but could they prevent her from the act in time?
Kes resolved herself.
She trusted Janeway, Tom, and the others. Especially the Doctor,
even if his influence was limited to Sickbay. They were her friends and
shipmates. They would not see her or Neelix come to harm.
Kes stuck out her open hand. "A Love Showdown. You watch Neelix
and I make love. If we prove we're in love, you leave the same way you
came: with nothing."
Kalaxis bristled.
"But if we lose, and Neelix and I aren't in love after all...
then you can have him back."
"Oh no!" the man squeeked.
"Captain, you must also be a judge too. That way the decision is
balanced."
"I don't..." Kathryn began.
"Is that fair?" Kes cut off, now addressing Kalaxis.
The other considered. "Hmmm. Reasonable, one supposes."
Kalaxis took Kes' hand and shook it tightly.
"The deal is done! A Love Showdown it is!" Kalaxis chortled.
Kes smiled back as if already the winner.
And looking on from the floor, Kathryn and Neelix fearfully
watched fate be sealed.
"Mr. Neelix, I suggest you get plenty of rest, drink plenty of
fluids, and pray to whatever god or deity you worship. You are seriously
going to need all the libido power you can get."
Neelix nodded slowly in agreement. "It's too late to jump out of
the airlock. Isn't it?"
Kathryn nodded. "Oh yes. Indeed it is."
