What the fuck is an Aryan?

the word 'aryan' is actually a word of the english language, but it is simply an english rendering...the original word or root is the sanskirit 'arya' meaning noble or pure people. The sanskirit speakers called themselves the 'arya' or 'aryas', thus in our english language, 'aryan' comes about, like the people of america are 'american', australia, 'australian' etc. In german, the word 'arisch' is used. Just like the english people are the 'englisch', slavic people are 'slavisch', celtic people 'celtisch' etc.

The language of Sanskirit is an ancient one, that no longer fully exists anymore but once did in what is now known as india. Northern india once included the modern country of pakistan.

In the late 1700's and 1800's, as we know, the british had colonised India. Certain linguists around this time noted something interesting; the language of sanskirit showed remarkable similarities to that of greek, latin, and english, and eventually an entire language family was drawn up: the 'indo-european' language family. 'Indo' reffering to india or places in close proximity of india (in this context reffering to sanskirit) and european obviously reffering to something of europe, in this context european languages.

The 'rig vedas', or the oldest hindu holy texts, told of invaders or migrators who had come from a land to the north (this was an 'aryan' text so essentially they were speaking about themselves) and brought the 'arya dharma' to india, indicated they were light skinned where as the pre-existing inhabitants of india were dark-skinned, and these original inhabitants were conquered by military superiority. In the land of iran, a very similar language to sanskirit was once spoken, which eventually formed its own dialect. The old iranian religion also told of the 'aryas' who had settled in iran and counquered a land to the south (india). The old iranian mythology was very similar to the 'aryan' hindu mythology, right down to names of different gods, and whats more, the word 'iran' was derived from the root 'arya'. Within close proximity to iran was afghanistan, and its old name was 'aryanas', so it had the 'arya' root as well. The british linguists reasoned that the original inhabitants of afghanistan, iran and pakistan were one people, calling themselves aryans, or noble and pure people, and these indic people migrated or invaded there way down to mainly northern india (hindustan). They spoke the same language (sanskirit) worshipped the same religion and mythology, and conquered the dark-skinned original inhabitants of india with horse and chariot power, establishing a caste system which supressed the negroids of india.

Noting the remarkable similarities of sanskirit with several european languages, the indo-eruopean language family, they decided that the indic or indo-aryans had shared a common origin with speakers of indo-european languages, spoken a proto-indo-european language, and lived in an original homeland, worshipping a proto-indo-european religion. This homeland was eventually posited in the russian steppes, or southern russia (the caucasus mountains), and it was theorised that the indo-european people used horses and chariots to travel and organised their societies into castes; warriors, preists, peasants and farmers, nobles, etc.

The celtic, slavic, germanic and baltic peoples all spoke indo-european languages and were thought to have migrated into their various european homes from their PIE homeland, along with indo-europeans who migrated into the mediterranean, giving rise to the roman and classical greek cultures and civilisations.

In northern india (hindustan), it is seen that the people there are lighter skinned, and that they generally belong to higher castes. These are the more 'indic' people where as southern indians are 'dravidian' or black. The indics have sharp, angular features, chiselled and acquiline, some having blue eyes, and the old hindu holy texts describing them as blonde. In other words, showing similarities to northern europeans. Racial anthropology divided the european or caucasian people into three main groups, nordic, alpine and mediterranean. 'Nordic' is a germanic word meaning northern. It refers to the north european or scandinavian countries. 'Nordic' as the sub-racial european classification refers to the long headed, sharp featured, and often fair skinned, blonde, blue eyed people. This includes all europeans who fit this description not just scandinavians. These people are mostly the germanic, celtic and slavic and baltic people. So it was theorised the original germanic, celtic and slavic and baltic tribes were of the 'Nordic' european sub-racial classification. 'Alpine' refers to mountain ranges around france, where alot of short, stocky, dark, round headed people live. This is the description of the 'alpine' sub-race, 'mediterranean' is obviously the countries surrounding the mediterranean sea, the people there usually are dark, medium height, stocky, with long, thin, blade like noses, sunken eyes, etc. This is the description of the 'mediterranean' sub-racial classification.

And so it became understood that the indo-european peoples were 'nordic' or nordid europids, who had migrated into different parts of the world from their russian steppe home. The indic people who called themselves 'aryans' are called nordindians or nordindids when talking racial anthropology, and are classified as a caucasian people. The idea of a culture-creating people of military and cultural superiority who conquered different parts of the world, particulary european, conquering and displacing the darker 'old european' peoples (alpines, mediterranenas, dinarics etc) sometimes dubbed 'medish' became popular amongst romantic thinkers of the nineteenth century. A german linguist who studied the root 'arya' decided that all indo-europeans called themselves aryans (example, the greek higher class who called themselves the '-ari-stocracy') and it soon became popular amongst europeans, paritularly romanticists, that an 'Aryan' race existed and that they were a part of it. This prevailed in northern european countries, and virtually anywhere with germanic, celtic or slavic peoples, which is pretty much all of europe except for southern europe where they are a minority.

Adolf Hitler is probably the most well known Aryan Racialist, and infact the swastika is as many note a widely used pre-nazi symbol that was spread all over the ancient world; it was in fact an indo-european symbol that mapped the sun and its movements (solar worship was popular amongst indo-european peoples).
