It wasn’t enough that several American professional athletes have disgraced their own country and flag while being paid millions of dollars over the last several years.
Now some of the very athletes who are meant to represent the United States of America in the Olympic games are also joining in.
Troubled Olympic hammer thrower Gwen Berry recently turned her back during the playing of the National Anthem, which she said glorifies slavery somehow.
While most leftist America-hating politicians and media members have defended Berry, others have called for her to be booted from team USA.
Several tweets have now been unearthed from Berry’s Twitter history which paint a very ugly picture of a person who promotes racism, intolerance, and hatred.
The tweets in question contain racist comments against whites, Asians, and Mexicans.
Other tweets include the use of the word “retard,” and inappropriate rape jokes.

Berry can seemingly say whatever she wants due to the rules of intersectionality.

Hammer thrower Gwen Berry, who is set to represent Team USA later this month at the Tokyo Games, is back in the spotlight after problematic tweets have been uncovered.
Based on tweets posted to her verified account, some being decades old – which were still public as of publication – she has tweeted the R-word extensively, made facetious threats to stomp a child, made jokes about rape, offered commentary on White people and made generalizations about Chinese people.
Berry initially came under fire on Saturday for turning her back to the American flag while the national anthem played. She also draped a shirt that read “Activist Athlete” over her face.
Her demonstration led to calls from conservative voices for her to step aside. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, and Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., have been among the loudest voices. Berry has also received support from many on social media, including Olympic legend Michael Johnson. But she vowed to compete.
“The point is to compete … which I will be doing,” she fired back at critics.
On Friday, internet sleuths unearthed decades-old tweets from the Olympian. The National Pulse was first to report on the tweets.
USA Track and Field and representatives for Berry didn’t immediately respond to Fox News’ requests for comment. Puma, one of Berry’s sponsors, also didn’t immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
Some of the tweets unearthed came before Berry made the Olympic team in 2016 and 2021, and even before she was on Team USA for the 2014 Pan American Sports Festival and the 2019 Pan American Games, respectively – in both events she took home the gold medals.
The 32-year-old’s tweets likely came from when she was in her early 20s. As of Friday afternoon, the tweets were still active.

It has come to public attention on Friday that the controversial Olympic athlete Gwen Berry has repeatedly tweeted many kinds of prejudiced tweets in the past.
She returned to the spotlight after several unsavory tweets of hers have surfaced Friday as Internet sleuths unearthed the decades-old posts from the Olympian.“Berry has become one of the most outspoken leaders in the sport fighting to bring awareness to issues of social injustice in the United States,” her personal bio touts.
However, Berry’s possibly problematic tweets denigrated various people as groups, including white people, white women, white girls, Mexicans, and Chinese people.
As was first reported by reporter Natalie Winters at the National Pulse, Berry over the years has wrote on Twitter disparaging people of other races repeatedly. Here are some examples of what she thinks of “white girls” and white people as a race:
“This lil white boy being bad as hell!! I would smack his ass then stomp him!! Smh #whitepplKids hella disrespectful,” she tweeted in 2011. Berry has also asserted that “white ppl” run their “damn mouths too much” and are “sooo retarded when they are drunk,” among other unkind generalizations about the race.
