A few years ago, something within the Catholic Church changed because Pope Francis shifted the church to focus on climate change. It’s no secret that this pope is far left, but his continuous drumbeat of socialist teachings is disturbing to conservative Catholics. In November of 2019, the pope considered adding ‘sin against ecology’ to the church’s Catechism.

Is the Pope worshipping the Earth, and has he completely bought into the socialist scam that is the Green New Deal? Well, Pope Francis just issued a “dire” report on the state of the planet Tuesday declaring in a video message for the launch of the Laudato Si platform, a seven-year ecological project, that the earth is suffering the worst environmental crisis of its history. Is the earth REALLY suffering an environmental crisis or is this a political agenda to adopt the green new deal scam?
The Pope began by saying the earth has “suffered wounds”...”For a long time, the earth “has suffered from the wounds that we cause due to a predatory attitude, which makes us feel like owners of the planet and its resources and authorizes us to irresponsibly use the goods that God has given us. Today, these wounds are dramatically manifested in an unprecedented ecological crisis that affects the soil, air, water, and, in general, the ecosystem in which human beings live.”
The Pope pivoted to try and connect the supposed “earth’s crisis” and pandemic with the suffering of the poor…but what about the suffering of the elderly during the pandemic? Wasn’t their suffering much worse?
“The current pandemic has also brought to light even more acutely the cry of nature and that of the poor, who are the ones who suffer the most.”

The Pope called for “a new ecological approach” to transform “the way humans inhabit the world, our lifestyles, our relationship with the earth’s resources and, in general, our way of seeing human beings and living life.”
The pope wants an “integral human ecology,” which entails “environmental issues but also man in his totality and becomes capable of listening to the cry of the poor and of being a leaven for a new society.”
“I, therefore, renew my appeal let us take care of our Mother Earth, let us overcome the temptation of selfishness that makes us predators of resources, let us cultivate respect for the gifts of the Earth and creation, let us finally inaugurate an eco-sustainable lifestyle and society.”
The pope went on to say the pursuit of integral ecology entails “responding to the cry of the Earth, responding to the cry of the poor, green economics, adopting a simple lifestyle, green education, green spirituality, and community engagement.”
This pope is clueless.

So this pope needs to go back to reading the Sacred Scriptures, the Bible. Genesis Chapter One is the beginning. God created the heavens and the earth and placed man and woman to “work” it enjoy it and multiply it. To Rule over creation and co reign with Him to accomplish His purposes. Mankind rebelled against God and that sin permeates creation and mankind. God took on the form of man and came to show us the kingdom of God and He gave his life as a sacrifice to redeem mankind and His creation. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God that paid the price to redeem creation. In Him there is the New Creation. There will be a New earth and a new heaven In Christ. Mankind will never create a new world. Mankind has sinned and will not be able to make new anything. Jesus embodies the holiness of God and has carried God’s purposes. There are no special kinds of people. From conception to death mankind has suffered the consequences of rebellion. Also maybe the pope needs to read the book of Revelation. God has given all judgement to the Son. Jesus will reign over all the nations.
