Wouldn't it make more sense to have something like the Bad Ideas link, for example, to read as...

totse.info/cms/bad-ideas

Instead of...

taxonomy22

Or whatever the hell it is right now? Surely that's not good for our Google rankings whatsoever. Or is it too late to change things like that now, at the risk of breaking everything?

Drupal uses Alias, so I can pretty much change it easily.

What's that? Also, won't this fuck anything up at all?

Anyway, I ASSURE you that properly worded links will give us a better ranking in any google searches after some time.

I don't think it will fuck up things because, it's just an alias the original link can be accessed via the old link as well.

Nope, HAHAHAH BAD ADMIN. I just powered up Google Chrome for Totse CMS. When I saw this thread bumped I went ahead and tried to make the changes. Keep in mind it's 8:38 Pm and power will go out at 9 Pm. I will try to change some URLS and paste them here.

before:

After:
http://www.totse.info/cms/articles/bad-ideas

It can be done, I will have to manually edit them, I use the sitemap and the start fixing the links.

Also,
I can just do this:
http://www.totse.info/cms/bad-ideas

rather than
http://www.totse.info/cms/articles/bad-ideas

But I thought adding articles might be better.

Sweet. Would you mind doing this, or is it too much to ask? I know it would definitely help our position on Google though, especially when people are searching for things like "bad ideas" etc
