I've been quite a few times, and I've never seen any rapes. A couple years ago though I was doing 210 days, and I was working in the clinic (sweeping and mopping and shit), and they brought this dude in that was all fucked up, I guess his cell mate had tried to scalp him, he had two big flaps of his head hanging off, they just stapled him up and sent him to another jail.
Did they serve you something that tried like hell to be a sloppy joe or maybe a pulled pork samich but failed miserably at both?
No, they try and serve a lot of soy and turkey blend stuff, like instead of ground beef in stuff it would be TVP. Or breakfast turkey sausage stuff, really nasty food. They have got a lot better though over the years. The jail I was at used to serve weird ass concoctions all the time, like shredded cabbage and pineapple. I have no idea who comes up with their menus.
