You might be working on a project where you have many pieces of paper or paper-like material such as photographs. They're scattered all over the place, but wouldn't it be nice if you could keep them all together? By no means a complete list, here are 10 ways to keep a stack of paper together:

1. Paperclip

These come in various shapes and sizes. All you have to do is stack up the paper, and put the stack between the smaller and larger loops of the paperclip. This is one of the most popular ways to keep a stack together as it is both strong and easy to remove.

2. Binder Clip

These come in various shapes and sizes. All you have to do is stack up the paper, grip the handles to open the clip, put the stack into it, and release to close. The handles may be folded down for convenience. This is similar to a paperclip, but much stronger.

3. Staple

These come in various sizes. It requires a stapler to use, and leaves permanent holes in the paper once used, but holds it together quite well. All you have to do is place the stack of paper between the top and bottom of a stapler and press down on the stapler. If you want a more permanent and strong solution, staples are the way to go.

4. Tape

These come in various sizes and types. All you have to do is take your stack of paper and apply the tape to the top of the stack and wrap it to the bottom. This is not recommended as it is hard to remove without damaging the paper and does not hold large stacks together very well.

5. Glue

These come in various strengths. Take the stack of paper and apply the glue to one edge of the stack. This is not recommended as trying to separate the stack will result in damage of individual papers.

6. Rubber Band

These come in various sizes and strengths. Take the stack of paper and put it through the elastic band. This is not recommended for small stacks as it will curl and crease the papers.

7. Fold Corner

Simply fold one corner of the stack of paper and they will stay together unless strongly disturbed. This is not recommended for large stacks as it is nearly impossible to do.

8. Binder

These come in various sizes and types with different number of rings. Punch holes in the stack of paper using the hole puncher and then put the stack into the holes of the binder. This is a good method if you are not worried about holes in your paper.

9. Folder

These come in various shapes and sizes. Simply place your stack of paper inside the folder. This is good for keeping a stack in one place, but papers may fall out at times.

10. Hand

These come in various sizes and strengths. Just place the stack of paper between the thumb and the other fingers and grip. Hands may experience muscle spasms where the entire stack may fall out and scatter all over the floor, so handle with care.
