I know this has been brought up a lot lately, but I think it's high on the list of things we need to fix around here. I can't work out whether this is just a forum issue, or whether its totally site-wide. Either way, its something which needs to be fixed.
Any ideas on what could be causing the lag, and/or how to fix this?
I've noticed Dfg getting things done a lot lately, and if this is a forum issue which could be taken care of quickly, it would be great. After all, we all want a fast site

Soundcloud maybe?Whats it like on other browsers...Opera, Midori, Google, FF ecetablah.
When using FF I found it started to do some pretty fucked up shit so I switched to Midori.
Edit: Take that back...Midori just fucked itself to.
Think about it guys. If turning noscript off makes the problem go away, then it must be a script slowing the site down, right?
Since it does that with every page, we could assume it's something global. Hellish fixed the cookie issues if you guys remember and after that we started having this issue. Hellish, what changes did you make?
I am going to strip down the forum and remove all the extra features and then test them one by one.
Hopefully in few hours, I would have narrowed this problem down.
Dammit, I think it's the WordPress Hellish, it's mixing up the directories.
http://www.totse.info/js/ <--- Gets handled by WordPress and because of that, the site loads slow because the main Javascript files can't be accessed and thanks to that the browser sets those files in pending with a 500 error.
i love you guys.
Neck Snapping performance with JS activated:thumbsup:
Touch Wood.....AAArrrgggghhhh.
Besides that....all fuckin good 9 outta 10 ain't bad:thumbsup:
Nvm: Took 30 seconds.
Wordpress is behind this! IMO but I could be wrong.
The speed has improved. I no longer need to add Totse to Noscript.
Don't question it, it will make it not work again. Don't you know anything about technology?
So you took a screenshot
