Increased Editors powers. They're kind of equal to Super Mods but I have restricted access to banning users. They should be able to edit threads.
Fuck yeah dude, thanks for this bro.
Could we have an editor assigned to certain forum sections, like the mods are? Or should we just be able to edit any guide we see fit?

In the end I went for a different approach. I just made Editors equal to Global Moderators but to keep the two ranks apart I added some restrictions. Like Global Mod is a true mod and he can reverse mod infractions and other things.
Whereas an editor can edit any thread in any forum but he cannot reverse infraction or ban users or close/move threads. The Idea is to allow editors enough control so they can just copy content from threads and if they need arises format them. [They must have user permission in advance].
All in all, being an Editor just makes you a POWA contributor and manager . Use the Marketing Forum to test things out.
They were allowed in M&A when I first gave them the Editor status.
Sweet, now we can go back to talking about them behind their backs
So if I wanted a threads name modified outside my own section I would have to go to an Editor to get it changed...

In my opinion Totse HQ is much better. Team Totse sounded a bit faggy
lol this.
I'm enjoying my powers I used them last night for the first time ever
What did you do? The first use of mine was to change a thread title
How is that actually going? Has a final CMS been chosen/created? By front page, do you mean the about page with the information?
I centered 2 youtube videos in a thread about skinning a deer
Perhaps when they cycle the mods, you might stand a shot at being an editor instead.
(plus there's an empty space since 4J left)
We tested Joomla and it seem to work pretty well. Waiting for the host change atm. BY front page I mean the article page new users will see once the system is in place.
You weren't ignored. We don't really have a CMS in place. I am just training Mayberry and Trx in editing forum threads and getting used to power. You're mod man. You can press the ban hammer button . Editors are like me, constantly contributing and managing content.
Meditor?
1. When will be changing hosts, and who are we changing to?
2. It's important to note that &T is like a giant team. We have members providing content, mods for certain sections, and editors like me and Mayberry to take care of articles. We need to share the load, like 2 cum-guzzling porn stars.
Editator.
Edit: Now I'm picturing him as Yoda
Actually you're not getting the point. CMS and Forums are two different places. They will be controllered by different people. The only thing common between CMS and forum are the Admins. Everything else will be different. It's like two different departments. If anything happens to Forums the CMS will operate on it's on. I mean like tons of users got mad or some mod drama started, it wont affect the CMS team.
Plus, I want the editors to be free from work load. As an Admin, Editor,Regular,Mod, user, I know it's a bitch to work with articles. Also, the aim is to make Totse portable. I don't want Admin or Admins or administration tinkering with the community.
Global Moderators: They're second in command and manage the whole forum and keep an eye out. They're responsible for keeping an eye on bans and other little details.
At this point I am not looking to make any one Global Mod. I made LSA King because I know him from Zoklet and he is the like number one when it comes to post count. I want the other 3 to be exceptional cases. I want a dedicated team and at this stage we all need to learn tons of things. We haven't been through what I call a real test.
So, focus on the main goal here. And don't worry about ranks on Totse. When the time comes you will know it. Hell, the community will vote for you.
I am tempted to assign those usertiles to both of you . But that's Hellish domain
Nah, I am Camel Rancher!
That's getting awfully close to custom usertitles
I think Katzen would suit Edictator better
don't worry I am not touching that usertitle button.
Also,
I thought it was cute
Just these two. After training them I will hand them control of CMS and assign an editor for each section. Like there will be editor for Arts etc. Although the work load will be low, at least the editors will be comfortable with handling the work.
The aim is to train, educate and create a work force. Remember Editors are also power contributors. Same as mods. So, in a way I am trying to achieve two targets using the same task force. Create more content and at the same time keep the forum and CMS running smoothly.
Our current user base is EXTREMELY productive. And I want to keep it that way .
We actually are
Totse in 10 years:
And we will all look back at where it started, with the Editors.
Hmm, Universal Soldiers?
Hahha, I wonder if we can actually do it.
