Increasing Post Character Limit

Current limit is: 15000 characters

Suggested Limit: 25000+ Character or 35000 Characters to be exact.

But there is a problem here. It will stress the DB and it's possible that it can't handle it. I asked Zok about this and he set judging from our server speed it's best we don't push it. But since Rizzo asked about this, I thought why not discuss it for future host.

    It's definitely something to consider for the new host. I hate having to split a guide into two posts, so it would make things easier and nicer.

    Not just yet though, I agree with Zok (lolwut) in that its best not to push it.

    No. The only reason we'd need a limit this big is for enormous guides. Couldn't it be allowed only for cases where it's a guide? I don't think we want 35000 character posts otherwise. That's beyond tl/dr.

    Maybe if guides are too long, then people can post them in multiple posts, and then an Editor can merge them all together :hai:
