I'm not sure about killing. Perhaps some cracked ribs here and there, a punctured lung. If aimed at the head or spinal cord, that's it.

Would hurt like a bitch to be shot at the leg with that.

That big slingshot is badass! I remember buying a little slingshot from a fair once, and it was so shitty looking, yet so powerful! Too bad it got left in the sun, and the elastic dried out

Make no mistake about it at all. From less than 30 feet, if some one had an SA80 or that catapult and only one round to fire, the results would be the same.

If it hit you in the leg, I think it would have enough power to do massive soft tissue damage and rip your femoral artery open. You would as good as dead within minutes.
