/b/?
Today, someone I know realized I'm on here and he's all:
"its suprising you'd even heard of it
as a cultural locus of such depravity
/b/ has long since supplanted it"
I never paid much attention to /b/, but from what little I know of it, it doesn't sound too great. and &T is AMAZING. So seriously, someone explain how something so shitty has "subplanted" &T.
Lies... LIES!
So yeah... help me understand.
Comments
Because &T got shitty?
From my understand /b/ is shitty... but also incredibly different from &T, so how can something so different replace something? It doesn't make much sense...
all the drama and shit which spreads throughout the internet
whenever you hear about something happening on the internet, chances are it came from /b/ like jessi slaughter, time magazine people of the year, sarah palins email being stolen, rickrolls, icanhazcheezburger? and other stuff
whatever your flavor is, thats what site you go on.
If you saw toy story 3, I would compare /b/ to the caterpillar room, and &T to the butterfly room.
/b/ sometimes produces amusing shit, but 99% of the threads on there are either reposts or gay porn.
yeah, but with millions of page views a day, eventually some good shit will happen.
If you throw enough shit at the wall eventually some of it will stick.
4chan has millions of people throwing shit a day.
I just saw some vintage (circa 1920s) cp today
I that shit
id be the only contributor, Ive made a couple myself, but none really caught on.
Im game for making one where i deposit all of the ones I find.
never what you expect, just like totse.
Just random /b/ pics I saved to my desktop accidentally. I miss my old /b/ folder. Never know when a retarded pic is gonna come in handy.
I mainly hit up 4chan for /w/ & /wg/. Of course /b/ and /backwardsb/ are also acceptable. /r9k/ too.
science
It's really like the primordial ooze from which all memetic life on the internet crawls. So much shit is happening that eventually something evolves and catches on. It's an interesting place, and arguably one of the most important influences on culture in any form of media.
Yeah? Well I can't stand the layout of YOUR FACE. jk, but I don't get what's so off putting about the layout. I've never really understood that when it's come up, and I've heard it a lot.
