Andy Gray was sacked by Sky Sports after footage emerged of the presenter appearing to make an inappropriate remark to a female colleague.

The footage came into the public domain two days after Gray was shown making controversial comments about assistant referee Sian Massey.

Gray had his contract terminated following the release of the new footage, 24 hours after he and fellow presenter Richard Keys were disciplined for their remarks about Massey. Sky Sports reporter Andy Burton was also disciplined on Tuesday afternoon after footage emerged of him and Gray commenting on Massey's appearance.

Announcing the departure of Gray, who has been one of the faces of the broadcaster's live Barclays Premier League coverage since it began almost 20 years ago, Sky Sports said in a statement: "Sky Sports terminated its contract with Andy Gray.

"The decision, which is effective immediately, was made in response to new evidence of unacceptable and offensive behaviour.

"The new evidence, relating to an off-air incident that took place in December 2010, came to light after Andy Gray had already been subjected to disciplinary action for his comments of 22nd January 2011."

The new footage, which was recorded last month but only came to light in the last 24 hours, appears to show Gray making a suggestive comment towards colleague Charlotte Jackson, who does not openly react while he and Keys then burst out laughing.

Gray's sacking was followed by an announcement from Professional Game Match Officials that they had withdrawn 25-year-old Massey from the npower League Two match between Crewe and Bradford, where she had been due to run the line.

PGMO general manager Mike Riley said: "PGMO and Sian believe that, with any football match, the focus should not be on the officials but on the players and the game itself. Sian is an excellent professional who has unwittingly found herself in the middle of a story that has nothing to do with her competence as a match official.

"Sian only wants to be notable for her performance as an assistant referee and is keen for things to get back to normal so she can return to officiating as soon as possible. Sian has the full backing of PGMO and we hope she continues her development, which has shown excellent progress so far."

While it's obvious that they were stitched up, because they were hated by the crews and the dull and stuck up frigid cunts that worked there. People working against him at Sky have set all of this up to get him the boot, they've wanted rid of him and now saw this as their perfect opportunity to do it. It's disgusting that they got in trouble just for having some off-air banter and jokes, let alone telling it and seeing women as they truly are, that being just fruit on the barrow.

First it was anti-hooliganism; then anti-racism and now it's feminism in the game for males and by males. Yet it is okay for frigid cunts to be sexist towards male on a much more frequent level on their talk shows and is expected to be taken as "tongue-in-cheek". How about "(my)dick-in-(their)mouth." One rule for them and another for males. It's bullshit and more politically correct bollocks at play. What I've found funnier is all of this week, feminists on the radio (and out of the kitchen:rolleyes:), talking about Andy Gray's recent comments. Their opinion is that "Sky Sports were right to sack him because sexism is completely unacceptable in today's world," but they weren't surprised by his comments because he's a man, and men are naturally ignorant. In their own words. The truth is women don't know how to make jokes, don't know how to take a joke and are just naturally miserable cunts who believe they're so fucking special and above criticism. If you can't handle the heat then stay out of mens business.

SKY NEWS: "Assistant referee Sian Massey withdrawn from tonight's match between Crewe & Bradford"

Cunt was probably on her period.

Yeah, well, ITV and OFCOM can stand by from lots of letters from men (myself included) complaining at the shit that is spouted EVERYDAY on 'Loose Women' (Lunch Slags).
    What did he say?

Made a joke with his mate that women do not know the offside rule. It is a years old, cliche of a joke, but for the majority of women it is true. Such a simple rule to understand.

What is annoying is that their is not one female professional sport out there that is not subsidised by its male equivelent. Would be nice if they had to run their teams as an independant business. Anyone that watches female sports and says it is not because they have the intention of watching tits jiggle or to see a glimpse of 'toe is a fucking liar.
