Lenses
So the kit 18-55mm VR Nikon lens that came with my camera crapped out (autofocus failed), I opened it up and found the problem - a ribbon cable had been chewed up by constant movement and popped out. I went and got a Tamron 18-200mm lens, I was a little apprehensive at first, but now I am impressed at what this lens can do. zoom photography is so interesting, and 18-200mm provides an excellent all in one solution. I heard a fixed focal length or "prime" lens is good as well, but I don't think it'd be necessary for me, I'm just a fun photographer.
