Green tea is a bit more bitter, but if you add some sugar it's all good.
Like I said, It's an acquired taste much like beer and coffee.
It's only bitter if you drink shit kinds. Bagged tea is almost always going to taste like shit. The only decent kind I've found is Republic of Tea.
Buy quality, loose leaf Japanese green tea, preferably from Kyoto, and you'll see what good tea tastes like. Steep for 1-2 mins. No need to add sugar, honey or anything else.

So. What's the difference between green tea and normal tea?
I drink them at least twice a week
Well, the taste is just like a normal tea but it has this leaf-like taste

This is true.
And I'm a Brit.
Amen to that. Although I do enjoy a cup of coffee, which is way better IMO.
