You should totally keep updating this with new versions once you release it
or even better, update it with new content through patches or some shit
Easily done, actually... I can make it so I just put a newer version up for download, and you can resume where you left off by reloading your last saved game.
There's also a script I found that allows you to transition between 2 different games, a "Disc 1" and "Disc 2" system.
I'm going to put the demo up as soon as I go somewhere with faster-than-dialup internet, I feel I have enough done to show people what I've been doing...
And there's one mini-quest done to keep you entertained, along with an achievement to unlock.
Oh yeah, found an "Achievement" script. Think Xbox360.
Alright. Here's my quick attempt at making the outside of the temple, from the green BBS start screen. And there's a 1:4 scale of the totse island to the right.
EDIT: Ignore the lines between tiles, those don't appear in-game.

The first: I found a few scripts online and inserted them, and, well, the entire way the message system works is now changed. They can talk in bubbles, I can add thought bubbles, I can make the messages overlap another characters message to simulate one person interrupting the other... so many uses. Here's two pictures of it working:
EDIT: Second thing is done. I changed around the fable work system into a hacking minigame for, among other things, Toothless Joe's computer. Now I just need something to actually look at on his computer to make it worth 'hacking'. Hmmm.

Bit of a problem...the MGS stealth detection script conflicts with just about everything, making it so you can't load a game without an error. I'm going to remove it for now.

I have no anti-virus software on my computer (I have dialup), therefore I cannot guarantee anything. Can somebody suggest an online virus scanner for windows XP, or could somebody who doesn't care and has an anti-virus download it to make sure? Last thing I want to do is screw you guys over.
Try MCafee scanner. Its a small file so it wont take to long to DL. Make sure you just get the scanner and not the whole virus protection program. I would do it but I have no anti-virus either.

Im with Anal Probe Deluxe(Hard to say that with a strait face) on this one. Im just saying I cant test it for viruses but I would play it despite the consequences. I want to play this game so fucking bad.
I had some trouble trying to get it to compress right, trying to make it so you don't need to download a bunch of images that aren't used....it'll be a bit longer. Should reduce the filesize from 25mb to around 5 though.
Oh, and it looked like there was just something hidden on my Ipod that spreads by plugging my Ipod into computers, friends computer just got rid of it, looks good

Finally have it so you can take it wherever, leave it there, change maps, and come back later and it's still there.
Since it's an island, I'm going to try to get airships and boats working, too. Should be easier, for a few reasons...

Just fixing a few things, trying to get the math of the battle system figured out. Once I start adding more rooms to the temple/other places, I'll be asking more people to be in the game.
