PSX emulation is relatively easy. I just thought I'd make a thread about it to encourage people to get into it and save them the trouble of googling for resources.
Firstly, download the fucker
http://www.epsxe.com/
If you use anything other than epsxe, you're on your own.
Secondly, you want the PSX BIOS.
It's called scph1001.bin
Here's a filestube link, because download links go down often (the BIOS is copyright).

Filest
Stick that in the BIOS folder of EPSXE.
Now, visit this link,
http://forums.ngemu.com/epsxe-discussion/106182-zlib1-dll-not-found-fix-here.html
Get zlib.dll, place that in the root directory of the emulator. Fuck yeah, now that it's all set up. Time to get some FOMs, motherfucker.
PSX ROMs are .iso files (fittingly, as they're all discs) so when googling for more sources, make sure you know you're looking for iso files.
Also, you can run your own PSX games on the emulator, but be careful, the PSX was very sensitive to scratches.

Download the PSX Emulator: Link
This guide only covers EPSXE, if you're using another emulator some steps might not work.
Next, download the PSX BIOS. The BIOS file is called scph1001.bin and you need to download it and place it in the BIOS folder otherwise the emulator won't work. The BIOS is copyrighted and download links to it get taken down pretty fast.
scph1001.bin
After downloading the BIOS file and place it in the BIOS folder, visit this link.
Get the file called zlib.dll and place it in the root directory of the emulator. [Root refers to the main directory where the epsxe emulator is placed]
You have completed the required steps to run the emulator. All you need is some games [FOMs].
PSXs ROMS are all .iso files. They're taken some discs. When Googling for files make sure to specify .iso in the search field. If you own PSX games you can run them to, but be careful, emulators are sensitive to scratched media.

How about a guide on Dreamcast emulation?
So it was more logical and not wise-cracky.
That's my assumption.
I see what you mean, carry on.
Sorry bro, my internet borked recently. I'm sure it's simple enough - Google around, you'll get there.
Try Coolrom for iso files.
