Obama has made me hate Democracy

In the recent month I have come to realize Democracy for the cancer that it is. Obama is a large part of this. The fact that this man was elected and the fact that we as a country are failing after only a couple hundred years has made me realize democracy cannot work.

It allows division. I democratic society is a divided society. We need a single strong leader. We need a government of Action not one that bickers over bills. Democracy like Anarchy sounds good on paper but it inevitably fails. America is a failed Nation. It was a great idea but it has failed.

Only through the firm leadership of one individual can we succeed. In short fuck democracy and fuck American ideals. I guess thats one good thing Obama did. He showed me what a flawed system we really have.

I would take Stalin or Hitler any day over Obama. hell I would take Idi Amin over Obama. At least those people desired a more powerful nation. I've heard Obama say "whether we like it or not were the most powerful nation in the world".

What the Fuck do you mean whether we like it or not? He's not a strong leader in any way. The man is a stuttering buffoon without his teleprompter. He's pro gay, pro beaner and the stupid people of America elected this guy. If people are really willing to elect an idiot like him based on the fact that he's black then fuck democracy.

The US isn't a democracy. It's a republic. We elect leaders to do shit for us. The founding fathers knew their classical history and wanted to avoid the chaos of democracy and chose, instead, to create a system based on the republic of ancient Greece.

Obama has'nt done anything. He just sits in his big chair eating chicken and watching basketball on his plasma tv. Nothing has changed since he got elected.

all you need is a more efficient political system but not socialism. no ones going to want socialism buddy thats not going to sell.

The U.S. should have a direct democracy or a flat out democracy that reaches out to the people .

 At a direct democracy. What is needed is a vanguard party that acts in the interests of the people. So it would be a single party state but the single party should have some democracy within it. I think the soviet system of having the politburo vote on issues is a good way to go about it.

It ensures that no one man has absolute power but their is still a united country with united and shared goals. I'd prefer the country to lean more towards oligarchy then a single leader. I think that's a major way the nazis fucked up. Hitler himself had to much power.

True. Because the government is now our mommy. We can no longer wipe our own ass without the libs instructing up on what ply and how many wipes. And make sure that the paper came from recycled paper bags.

Why do we need to think when the government is doing it for us?

They're smarter than you are. Using recycled shit is win. Telling morons how to live is win. Since they can't figure it out on their own, someone MUST dictate it for them.

This is true. And this is why direct democracy is fail. Look at the average person. Do you want them running the country? The picture that the thought of direct democracy paints is a fucking nightmare. Most people can't run a business let alone a country.

Our system of electing representatives isn't much better either though because as you can see we elected Obama. Like I said a semi oligarchy is the best way. Something like the politburo or the Khmer Rouge central committee. It's a brilliant system.

Recycling is win. Being told that I *have* to recycle and having to PAY is not.

Christ I'm sick of hearing all these whiney ass cocksuckers who don't want to pay taxes. Obviously they don't want roads, police or firemen, the mail system, the army, or any other publicly funded shit. Go live in a sod house and eat shit.

    You. Are. A. Moron.

Stop talking out of your ass about topics you don't have a clue about. I am bitching about the fact that I have to pay to recycle, when my city also receives tax credits and sells the recycled items for a profit. How is this fair? Are you following along skippy?

No where did I state that I was whining about taxes. I am all for taxes...as long as they do not support idiot absurd government programs.

What is needed is a vanguard party that acts in the interests of the people. So it would be a single party state but the single party should have some democracy within it.

This is what I meant. Why not ditch all our representatives and replace them with the people? This will be the democracy of tomorrow, a fully interactive democracy for all citizens. This is your so called "vangaurd party" that will act in the interest of the people and it will be a democratic society.

Ask yourself, why don't the people of a nation, its citizens have the ability to present and pass laws and regulations? Funny question I know.

A lot of you will argue, well people are stupid and this would never work. A lot of you will say that such a political system would be impossible to pass laws and regulations with the amount of participants in such a system.

The truth is that it would work only if we make a drastic reform to the way the government and politics operate in society. Our current political systems are far too suspect to corruption and major corporate influences that have no interest in the people of a nation. Politicians are too easily bought off by corporate interests and secret agreements made behind closed doors with other organizations. This is no good for anyone, not good for the nation, the people or even the politicians.

This can all be eliminated with a direct democracy of the people-nation. You might wonder what is involved with my wonderful reform to the government that would let people present and pass laws/regulations etc.,eliminate corruption and serve the people...you might think its impossible and I rather you think that. You might think its a stupid idea and wouldn't work but that means your not fully thinking out a foolproof political system that is to be this so called "vangaurd party" of direct democracy.

Let me cover one aspect of this system. Bills will be presented by citizen and moderated by a community citizens comittee to filter out extremist/joke/not-serious bills. the the bill will be presented to and voted on by the people of the nation through a viable medium.

There is far more to it, but I wanted you to get the main idea.

All I'm going to say is that it's possible and the future revolution to this system will truely be representative of our age.

It ensures that no one man has absolute power but their is still a united country with united and shared goals.

Oh interesting. what goals might those be?
I'd prefer the country to lean more towards oligarchy

Interesting question, who gets to be the top dog? This really gets into how you think wealth should be distributed and this should really be left to the people. I think it should be plain and simple - The better contribution you make to society, the better you get compensated by the state. Any government officials compensation should always reflect how well he has served the people. If the people think a government official is doing a bad job, they will get pay cuts and vice versa.
